How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

there are no tools like you think, you must have experience and knowledge about crypto investment. insight will really help you to find many choices. this is not easy, that's why you have to take the time to study it.

Reddit is another social forum with a huge community around cryptocurrencies. The subreddits r/CryptoCurrency and r/CryptoMarkets are my go to.On the right hand side of both subreddits are flair filters where you can sort the discussion in your direction (i.e. New Coins, Strategies, etc.).

Today, we shouldn't talk about investing in altcoins for a long time, we need to wait for the trend changed to bullish and invest only for this period.

Great inquiry, in this sort of industry we ought to be mindful about what altcoin should we take to contribute in light of the fact that not every one of them are genuine. You need to see their whitepaper whether on the off chance that they have a practical objective and vision towards the accomplishment of the organization/venture. We ought to likewise check if numerous individuals have positive criticism on them and they ought to have bolstered by the network since it will demonstrate that the undertaking will genuine or not.

There really is not a one size fits all when it comes to researching altcoins but one of the ways that I have found to be effective for me is to look at the creators of the coins. If they are on linked in the you need to make sure that they are really the ones working on the coin. I also like to look at their previous projects as it would give me a good idea of what kind of work they are into and how well they work.

I will research about team members of that coin. The founders and their experiences are priority.
After that I will search for any article and paper which evaluates about that coin and also give comments on that coin.
Based on my research, it's ussually about which altcoins we should invest would be First we have to make sure If the particular project has got potential or not by knowing its company norms or rules and regulations set by their developers or the devs. and also research about the tools and algorithm's which they use to mould their project or particular coin. and also please check and make a brief research on the investors and CEO'S And the family of the project and done. mostly by researching you will be gaining more deep further information which would be enough for you to know if the particular project or coin is good to invest or not.

Deep understanding and analysis in a certain will enlighten you and help to decide what is the best. No tools to used for it, only our smart thinking. Mostly investors will put their money into known coins as they have assurance that it could attract more users as it is already tested and existing project.

I will analyze the crypto market and a good ICO website to follow. especially at this time many new altcoins are emerging from new companies that sell their products. and I usually see websites about ICO rankings that are good as a good altcoin reference to choose from as an investment.

it is not easy for that, you have to check the white paper and the portfolio first, then analyze it for the next development such as the product or technology. so everything must be the basis of research, because this is very important for every investment speculation.

I search the information about token, look its functionality and popularity. Usually I choose tokens that are connected with the blockchain and that made by guys from Asia.

The token corresponding to most projects is worthless. It's just hype. You can get feedback from the current market. This is also the reason for the fall in prices.

I don't go too technical when it comes to researching. I start by reading the whitepaper then research if their contents were legit. I also research on the CEO and the team behind the ICO. It is important to know their credibility and the things they have done on the previous project. I also check the comments on BCT ANN thread. An active ICO moderator will always have a way to answer questions from a possible investor.

I visit the ico section in the bitcointalk forum. Most of the ico that is getting live, especially in the campaign portion all comes from the bitcointalk forum. And also for more, try to visit any ico review site, and go to the upcoming ico.
