The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

yes with less cash there will be lesser cash robberies and death, but eventually this criminals will adpat, and may target that are openly involved in bitcoin transactions like maybe a store that says it accepts bitcoin

People will still mug others. They would still your phone because they would know that you had a Bitcoin wallet installed on your smartphone. Fake stores are already a thing, mostly on the Internet and many people got scammed in a such way.

The biggest advantage is that we won't need ATMs and banks where you can deposit and withdraw money. Less risk for people who work there.

That Bitcoin is saving lifes sound a bit exaggerated, I wouldn't be so dramatic but I agree that Bitcoin can help many to get better financial situation and to organise their life different.
Still Bitcoin is not fully available and especialy not to people in need.
Regarding security this is also something to discuss. Yes, Bitcoin alowed cashless payments but the same thing is enabled with cards.
I agree that Bitcoin has done many positive changes but we have to be realistic in the estimation of their impact.

There are various kinds of protection which can prevent from stealing data from a smartphone. At least, even now most smartphones have passwords and fingerpring protection which are pretty difficult to hack. Most likely, street robberies will be replaced with digital ones and hackers will be attacking some intermediary services such as MyEtherWallet.

It is mainly digitized. The problem is that people will continue to use cash, which will not solve this problem. at least for many years.

Then what about hackers? They are also criminals. cybercriminals. Criminals are smart, that's why they exist. they always find a way to do their nasty stuff. However, I admit digital currency usage is easier and safer. But accidents also can occur anytime anywhere. you can't stop it.

It is not just bitcoin, using digital currency will decrease the amount of robberies overall, but using cryptocurrency will deny it completely, having credit card is still going to compromise you but cryptocurrency is just beyond that, thieves are not that smart to be able to hack accounts and servers to steal people's money, people need to understand and know what the cryptocurrency is all about and know that it is more than just an investment because its true form and its true meaning is obscured by the media.

How would we not like crypto-currencies in any case, people and countries will use fiat money. Yes, the value may decrease but it will not completely get rid of fiat money. And the fact that a person has died is certainly very bad. Because of some papers, a person has committed murder is not humanely at all.Maybe it would be better if large amounts of money were not transported in trucks and transferred from one organization to another with the help of bitcoin. The idea is very correct. I support

Even if bitcoin is adopted legally worldwide still we can't control these incidents because fiat money won't be totally wiped out since it is our regular currency. And because bitcoin use is not fully utilized we still need cash to purchase goods or things which can't be done with bitcoins.

what if bitcoin is not adopted on some countries? does that mean those people living on that country can be easily died or killed ? lol , that is insane then . anyway , i dont really think that bitcoin adoption or bitcoin legalization can save lives but intstead it can only improve the way people live because when people start to use bitcoin , he can then become more productive  and he can also develop good habits , etc . there are still lots of positive effects that a bitcoin can do to a person . but bitcoin cannot save a life because it is not a food , a shelter , a  medicine  , a god , etc...

probably in Africa has not evenly discharged its debit card using digital money like Master Card or Visa.

it could also happen when there are some ATMs are empty in the cash content and in the way of robbery, Bitcoin can be done in a way to be a lot of ATMs there but for now Bitcoin also must have an exchange with FIAT which allows the charging cash into every ATM like do in the above earlier.

It is true that bitcoins adoption can saves life but it will take several years for government to adopt it as a mainstream legal currency. This is the positive side you are talking about but the naysayers will talk of the negativity of bitcoins as a hindrance to bitcoins adoptions.

Agreed, but adoption of Bitcoin will reduce "Cash" on your premises and this will reduce cash transports. If you were a robber and you had to chose a target between a merchant that are cash only and another merchant that has a "Bitcoin accepted here" sticker in the window, which one will you target?

I'd go to the merchant with "Bitcoin accepted here" sticker. Robbery, well for pros, always have planning before they go robbing any banks or merchants. They familiarize themselves on the establishment, where to go, where are the money, etc. So if a robber will rob a merchant that accepts Bitcoin, he has to know where the device and what device to take. This may sound absurd but having Bitcoin instead of cash is very much profitable for the robber Roll Eyes Grin

A friend of mine in South Africa phoned me yesterday and informed me that another person died yesterday in a cash-in-transit heist. These robberies have increase significantly in the last couple of months. See link below :

https://businesstech.co.za/news/banking/246259/there-have-been-135-cash-in-transit-incidents-already-in-2018/

https://image.iol.co.za/image/1/process/620x349?source=https://inm-baobab-prod-eu-west-1.s3.amazonaws.com/public/inm/media/2018/02/19/iol/176/0333db3c-eea6-4a9d-9b72-fd27ef4d1c66.jpg

This got me thinking, Why do security guards and cops and sometimes even civilians have to die for other people's cash?

The current Fiat system increase the probability that people have to die, because cash have to be moved from one location to the next and merchants need to have cash on site for their business.

How many clerks working at merchant locations have to die for their owners cash? <7Eleven / Corner shop / Malls>

Bitcoin can reduce this today!

The adoption of Bitcoin remove the need for cash on location, so the robbers have no need to hurt or kill people to get to the cash. The bitcoins received can be deposited directly into a Bitcoin address at a safe location or at a third party payment processor and transferred electronically to your Bank, if you want to convert to fiat.

The employee or clerk working at your shop cannot steal your money or be in danger, because he or she does not have physical access to the money/bitcoins and this money does not need to be transported, so the security guards are not needed.

Let's increase Bitcoin adoption today, and save lives!
actually i have been an advocate of digitalization, because we will save ourselbes a lot of troubles while we prosper
