After banning blockchain app from the store, I will bann all Apple products for ever. Sad though, I was happy with Apple since my first iPhone 3s. Well, Apple made his choice and so did I - NEVER AGAIN ANY APPLE PRODUCT. POINT!
How do you think guys?

I've done basically the same thing, but started a couple years ago. No apple crap for me or my kids.

It seems very likely now that Apple is getting ready to make a power play in mobile payments. All the pieces are lined up - credit card accounts, Passbook, iBeacons and TouchID. It only needs the switch pulling and the marketing machine starts rolling. Bitcoin just represents a small fly that they are swatting away to prevent confusion.
Apple's payment system will put ease of use right at its heart. No need to scan QR codes, bonk your phone on a sensor, type anything in, sign your name or do anything other than use your fingerprint to pay for your products. As an added advantage stores can track your movements and offer you a discount as you pass by the tins of beans.
Everyday practically there is a new entrant into the mobile payment space. This morning in the UK, Mastercard launched Weve which is just one of many badly named mobile payment apps which stand no hope of gaining public acceptance. In my opinion, instead of chasing retail, bitcoin and other coins should seek to do the things that Apple, Visa, Mastercard and Paypal can't do.

Bitcoins are not about retail.
Bitcoins are freedom! Transfer money from one to antoher without anyone in the middle. Apple and Co have no chance to compete against this.
A woman in Africa can receive money within a few minutes from all over the world without having bank account, credit card or any Apple approved shit. This all without paying high fees.
Bitcoin means freedom and safety for your wealth. I will accept Bitcoins with my companies within coming 8 weeks and even will prefer Bitcoin payment, which means all payments made with Bitcoins will have a good discount. Please understand that I can't promote or name here my companies.
Long Live Bitcoin!

i wonder if and could imagine that steve jobs would have invented the iCoin i mean thats apple, take something what is already there and make it bit more userfriendly and add some design... then act like you have invented the wheel... anyway good decision to ban apple products. i find it annoying that they do special cables and special software like itunes and try to force you to use only apple products.

The only Apple product I own is a battered iPhone 3 which is probably on its way out. I'd like to get away from Apple on my next phone though for various reasons.

I really like apple products, but I consider switching to Nexus 5 as a phone because of their bad habits to reject apps with no explanations. (but I don't like android and google, so it's hard) Also, it seems that there are a lot more malwares on android phones than IOS, so I'm not totally decided for now. Ubuntu apparently has a operating system coming out. I'd be interested in that as an option over android or ios etc.

The only apple device I have is an iPad and its my kids toy. Thats how I see apple stuff these days. In my opinion Samsung makes far superior products.

It can be a more interesting solution, but it's a pain to choose, there will be few apps at the begining. And for ease of use, after iPhone, it will be hard Also, it will need some time before we know if the system is secure. Let's see what this give, but it's announced since a long time, and I still dont see Ubuntu phones Yeah, does seem to be a long time coming. I'm hoping it doesn’t disappoint. Are they actually bringing out a phone or just an operating system?

Do you think Apple will respond to such petitions? The best way to vote or protest Apple is with your money. Dump their devices and they'll soon get the message.

Macbook already replaced with Pixel Chromebook. iPhone already replaced with Android phone. Next week I'm dumping the iPad and replacing it with a Nexus 7.
Apple, it's been nice. But now you are mean and I don't want to be your friend any more.

I've banned apple since 13 years ago, the first time I use their product I immediately noticed their centralized control of almost every degree of freedom in user space, check this chart
