This downtrend is a normal thing in summertime. Price is dropping but nothing big in my opinion, nice drop for people who wish to buy more under 6k dollars. What ever is the reason behind this drop people should use this good opportunity for buying. Price usually starts to rise in August, people should wait for that time before making any trading decisions.

6k bottom? Hows about it dipping under 5.8k just 2 days ago to register the new all time high for 2018. You can't be sire about anything in this market dude no matter how hard you read charts. Halfway through this year and we're still sliding lower and lower.

It is not possible in crypto market, Already two times it was hit 6k USD in this year and it was move 5.7k USD also but never reach 5k USD. So surely I hope Bitcoin will never hit 5k USD in this year and it will gradually increasing in future. Because some positive response are comes in yesterday so this will grow soon.

I think it can reach $5k since the problem in the market cannot be fixed immediately and now bitcoin is the one suffering the most so of course $5k is a possibility but lower than that is too much for bitcoin, its worth is not below $5k anymore even over $5k is already too low but to go under that is too much to ask the moment it hits $5k I'm pretty sure it will bounce back and gain the support of more investors.

I don't believe people have lost interest in Bitcoin and in crypto as a whole. It may be just because the disappointment of the market from last year to this year was sad. Anyways the future looks great for the price of the market to get better. We shall bounce back to better prices.

The price has really touched the 5k earlier this week. Current growth is really bad and this is the right time to buy more coins. So invest as much as one can and gather more coins. I just went through coinmarketcap.com. Every coin including top listed coins are really cheap and worth buying. The profit is for sure down the line in December 2018.

Many have thought that $6K would be the bottom yet it already broke the $6K support just a few days again when bitcoin went all the way down to $5.8K. This trend has surprised many since most have expected for the price to be already rising after it is done with correction. Now that the price has gone downhill, it may be expected that the price would jump up this coming July/August but not all throughout till the end of the year. There may still be some bottoms before the end of 2018 but who know’s whether it will go as low as $5K?

The growth isn't bad, you just need to look at the market in a different way. Last year people were willing to hold their coins and even accumulate more, which significantly helped the market move forward. Right now all that is gone. The market has to find a point at which it can bottom out and from there we will be able to look upwards again. It will happen, but it may take longer than people expect, especially so with how people's expectations are high and unrealistic. The good thing about this market is that you can buy the bottom if you spread out your buys wisely. I personally stick to 5-10% buys per time. I will only go higher if I think we reached a price that I consider actually low.

I don't look at charts for crypto, but I do check bitcoin's price at least once a day.  I don't have a clue whether it's going to dip as far down as $4000, but I'm hoping not.  I had been thinking that the bull market that slingshotted it up to $20k wasn't done, but now I'm not so sure.  Then again, I'm not silly enough to think we've reached crypto-Doomsday yet, because after all we're still at $6100.  That's not bad.

That si every single cycle. It cant find bottom if is still hyped as it was at end of last year. Peopel has to belive that Bitcoin wil go to zero. That is onyl way Bitcoin wil ever foudn bottom. So far that si not realy a case. So I belive it will pass quite soem time for taht to happen.

I think $5k is too low price for bitcoin. If we look at the market today it is upwards and we saw a little increase in the price today. It is right that in the summer the price doesn’t increase as it is expected but I think in the near future it will raise more and will cross $7000 soon. This first half of this year is not good for the price so far but the second half will be good.

Not sure which chart you were looking at, but it broke the $6k support sure, but wasn't really near $5k at all. Even then, it bumped quickly back up above $6k where it's been for two/three days now. Again, not saying it won't touch that 5k - I personally am ready for lows that will test and break $4k, but realistically even $5.5k would be the real struggle for the bears over the next couple of months.

Can't argue that most coins look like good value buys right now, when compared to ATHs, assuming that they will again reach them when Bitcoin rallies. But I'm really not sure alts, save the few with use, can really pull the same weight again and again.
