really, for three reasons that make a lot of people survive. I think those who complain and stop their interest in the world of cryptpcurrency will feel the loss and regret next year. indeed this bearish trend is very long, but if we are smart, we can take advantage of the circumstances that occur now and make it an advantage for the future.

There is no reason to ever leave or take a break. If people do end up leaving then they simply shouldn't have invested in this market to begin with.

People getting annoyed are solely here for the profits, while the rest is just using Bitcoin as they have always been doing. Most of bear market is behind us. I mean most of price decrease. Time could  double but price wise it cant. Bitcoin just cant lose 4 times value anymore.   So leaving Bitcoin now would be quite dumb.   I will actually after long time start suggesting to people to start considering buying Bitcoins.

1. bitcoin has a lot of unfulfilled potential which means even if you hold it and lose money now it will bounce back up and you will make it all back. whether you hold it or sell to buy back at the bottom depends on you and the risks you want to take and whether you want to go on exchanges or not.
2. other markets are so-so sometimes you should hang around and try to make profit, sometimes you should get out,....
3. altcoins are a completely different beast. sticking around in their bear market can literary mean losing all your money. many of them won't outlive this trend and won't exist after it. and most of them won't go back to their ATHs ever again and none of them have any good future.

I will stay, but I have to say to you: this could be prevented.

If the market was inside a blockchain, it could have its lows encoded on it, and the lowest price would be the mining cost.

The mining cost is currently 15k. This is the cost to mine one bitcoin in one year. Just imagine a "bear market" in such conditions, it would protect the small miners, allowing decentralization of mining. And people would play more safe, allowing for more adoption.

The way it is now, its like a wild west. And regulation from the State will only turn it worse, since the State is aligned to the financial institutions that created this situation. Bitcoin will fail as a currency, as no merchant will accept something that can fall to 90% of its value in just six months. The only way to solve this, is through code, and with a parallel market, unrelated to the current model of centralized exchanges.

People should stay in the cryptocurrency market, but they'll have to shift their funds from Bitcoin to other cryptos.

Bitcoin is very simply put not viable as a globally accepted currency. It isn't now and, hopefully, it never will be.
There are many cryptocurrencies more secure and with cheaper/faster transactions than Bitcoin, which I hope will prevail. Bitcoin had its reign, but it's time to end it.

So I believe we should keep supporting the crypto-market, but not Bitcoin.

"stay" in the market? what do you mean---like, hodl their BTC?

you're never gonna stop newbies from selling the bottom. we've all done it. the get-rich-quickers get shaken outta the market and leave until the next bubble, and strong hands start accumulating the dumps. then the bull cycle eventually continues. rinse, repeat.

i don't particularly care if people sell their coins when the bags get too heavy (can't take the pain). that's just markets being markets, no way around it. someone's gotta sell the bottom! it may as well be some of you guys. lol.

I’m not here for quick profits although I really did enjoy spending free BCH, that was a lot of money for nothing. I had a holiday to Vegas, I went to the Champions League Final in Kiev & I’m going to Turkey later this year to get a full set of sparkling white veneer’s & ended up with an extra handful of bitcoin’s converted from BCH.

Yes no guarantee is there but as bitcoin price is already too much low, therefore there is no use to sell bitcoin and conform the lost, i think that we should only wait and not to sell bitcoin in hope that a time will come when bitcoin price will rise again and hopefully bitcoin price will once again start increasing and bitcoin price will be trading again above 20k.

It's seems absurd to me how many people are panicking within this bear market, and saying that it's the death of bitcoin (how many times have we heard that, as a community?) etc. There is simply no reason for doing that.

This bear market is a natural phase of the market cycle within BTC, and prices are expected to adjust. Prices are expected to dip a lot before it finally finds a bottom and recovers. That's literally how a bear market goes.

Even though I think that there is still some time before we finally start recovering, we are already very close to the price floor atm. And with all the institutional investors starting to come in despite the bear market, I think it's a good strategy to at least accumulate BTC with some of your spare funds, if not starting to accumulate at full scale if possible since prices are extremely low atm.

Yes no one can be so much sure about bitcoin price, even any other crypto currency. We are only expecting that bitcoin price is hopefully increase too much in next few days, and once again we will see the bitcoin price trading in its highest price. I think most of the people are only holding their bitcoin in hope that once again bitcoin price will rise to 20000$.

I have a strong reason why I'm still here even the market is dumping simply because I believe in the future of cryptocurrency. I see people how they react in this kind of situation, some already sold their bitcoin because they are scared about the future of btc, but of course we must stay calm and remain positive even the market is negative.

Bear market is only an issue to those who bought during the market high's but most of the people here which I'm quite sure that we bought and had bitcoin when it was around $1,000 - $4,000.

There is still a lot of leg room to work on. Remember that we reached $19K, so there's a lot of potential for the market to grow, we just need to be a little patience and not blow our heads off and snap and sell our bitcoin today. It doesn't make sense.

I agree. If you think that there are nations who are against crypto, there's a lot of friendlies out there because they saw potential on it on economic and individual level that's why they are giving it a chance and not hastily decided to go against it.
