Funny I thought crypto revolutionaries hated US.

Pussies come running back to the hand that feeds them instead of hands that try to fuck them in 8 different pieces.

Different day, same shit.

do you really think that this will not stay  Grin

crosspost from reddit (and not completely true)

Bitcoin solved a problem thought to be impossible to solve amongst computer scientists. How to get a bunch of people who don't trust each other to reach a consensus. The implications are mind blowing.

That thread is amazing, thank you! I'm still working my way through it but I wanted to pop back in here and point out Solarcoin.org which is doing much of what is discussed further down in the article in terms of solar energy and using the blockchain principle to meet a particular end.

Actually china doesn't ban bitcoin completely. It only doesn't recognize bitcoin as a legal currency. The exchange is allowed and can sell and buy them using the legal currency CNY freely.

Except your China news is outdated. They no longer ban bitcoins, they did in December, but they back on that and no longer do it. Realized it was a mistake. Even your news post is from December, China related that is.

If a govt doesn't have control over their own currency, they have nothing. This is an existential struggle for them (as well as the banks that control the govt).

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

The exact same FUD link collection was spread a while ago.

Ok, Gox is done. Big Surprise. May I remind everybody again of what is happening here. The last financial collapse of 2008 showed how vulnerable the system is that we take for granted today. Politicians of the world have no fucking clue on how to improve the situation (look at the Euro, look at the huge USD debt) so obviously this isn't going to continue into the future. The leaders of the world can be glad to have crypto because it offers an alternative, any alternative. Perhaps even a more sustainable one.

Buy now and hold.

If you have a thing for visiting Mtgox in Japan this is who you should look for

Lost your life savings? Lost everything??? visit the Office in japan Mtgox. this is who you should look for Founder/Ceo of MtGox

yeah the guy responsible for mtgox and shutting down the website and permanently shutting down your account.  "Means" you can't get it back unless government steps in and requires Mtgox to Reopen the website to return the money to everyone which i highly doubt the government will do. lol

As we told before...

I think this post should be stickied.
