Use google, you can find plenty of guides to invest in ICO's there. People aren't going to help you much here, most of them don't know what they are talking about. A good tip that I can give you is to look for ICO's that have products or at least prototypes ready.

I would recommend to pay attention to these factors: they must have a good Whitepaper, read it scrupulously, cause some ICO just steal somebody's else Whitepaper and just change the name of the project. They must have MVP on their website, cause lots of projects like to write how cool they are, but don't have anything except these pompous words. Their employees should have profiles on Linkedin, for example, cause scammers are afraid of revealing their personality and often they whether don't have any profiles of steal somebody's photos. Check their groups on the different social networks, they should be active and not filled with bots and fakes. Check their profile on GitHub. I would recommend you to pay your attention to Cryptics - forecasting platform which does use 100% AI. Their project does satisfy with all these requirements.

I would recommend you to always think that every ICO wants to scam you out of your money. Believe it from deep down your heart. And then, inform yourself about everything they do and see if they can really turn around your belief, that they only want to scam you out of your money. If they have a very credible idea that can turn the world around, a credible team with smart people on it, they can still take your money and run away with it. So be very careful about it and always expect the worst when you deal with ICOs.

As a newbie, you don't invest in any. You learn how they work, and you don't follow people who tell you to invest in that or in this. There are no safe options as far as ICOs go.

Hi

This is really really complicated and unregulated business, strongly recommend to invest much time learning before even considering investing.

The first thing you need to check is to make sure they are not a SCAM.

My 6 Steps=>

1) Check the credentials of ICO team members
2) Read the ICO whitepaper carefully
3) Is there a meaningful ICO project plan?
4) How to spot ICO scams by checking token distribution or token-sale modalities:
5) Use the crypto community: just like  here in Bitcointalk (make sure the person behind is not a marketing affiliate)
6) Consult for useful resources, there are plenty of great sources to learn from, 1 example is my attached detailed guide to spot a scam.

https://101blockchains.com/how-to-spot-ico-scams/

Hope you find it useful

hello jenna

it is very hard to say which one is the best ico to invest for beginner, everyone should decide for themselves. you definitely need to do your due dilligence, i wrote article on steemit about how i do my ico research. you can find it here https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@topicopicks/ico-research-the-way-i-do-it

on top of that, I would like to note, that some other factors become more and more importat (especially in this market): hype and ico niche. as an example, i would use project called OneLedger, that had nice hype levels, but pretty much everybody who passed kyc was given allocation. and just yesterday or the day before, on the day when it was launched on exchanges its price went down 20% below ico price. on the other hand projects that are way oversubscribed and not everybody can get allocation are performing better than that.

but please dont take this as advice, just my 2 satoshis. you will need to find your own way of factors you will want to have (in projects that you participate in)

Which is the best ICO to invest for beginner?

Have a look to the appropriate section of the forum:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

and then make your judgment based on your own research.

There are many interesting projects to check out and others not, so it's important to choose wisely.

Looking at the project as a whole and looking at the team behind it, is very important to make a correct decision.

If I can give you guys my opinion, I discovered an exciting ICO that is very interesting: RAWG.

Check out this new article where RAWG is mentioned as the "IMDB of gaming" on FORBES, one of the leading global media company, focused on business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrewrossow/2018/07/16/3-reasons-the-video-game-industry-is-bound-for-blockchain/#69da81c87810

The ICO will start in a short period and they are at the moment in pre-ICO phase. This is the ICO site: https://token.rawg.io/. It's a video game discovery platform that converts your skills into goods and services (the site is already working, with more than 57,000 games in the database) and, which is very interesting, they have already reached the soft cap.

Have a look and get some information while doing your own research!

Another interesting point: RAWG has already secured $5m USD, halfway to hard cap of $10m!

Before any ICO investment, it is best for one to do a thorough research about the project running the ICO, to know how legit the project or company is, to know if the research would yield profit in order have loss in the investment at long run

for a beginner, it's probably best to look for an ico pool where more experienced investors have already selected the project and conducted an analysis + no need to pass kyc

ICOs are very risky at this moment with the market condition and there are too many scam ICOs. If you are a beginner learn and study more about ICO projects. It's better for you before invest your money.

Double this smart senior.
There is always the possibility that even the most promising project will turn into a pumpkin. You should be prepared for this and don't invest family's last pennies.

There are plenty of review sites to find ICO Projects but most of the time they are paid for good reviews so much better to do quality research much better that they are already established and will adopt blockchain to further their development

I don't understand people who ask strangers where they should invest their money.
You must choose a project yourself or really trust a person who advises you.

The main advantage of ICO for investors is that even non-professional investors with a small budget can find a good object for investment and make a profit much faster than with an IPO. With the participation in ICO of a good project, a return on investment is possible in a few months with a profit, against the rate of return on investment in IPOs, sometimes measured in years. only a minus that it is very difficult to select these suitable projects! I think beginners should stay away from the ICO project. If you are very interested in investing, then you can try to find a project from the bounty activity, which will be very helpful for you!

These are the things you can self evaluate the ICO. You will need time to learn about these. Good luck.  Smiley

In most cases it is used to scam new investor because they are following hype projects , we must practice ourselves to do our own research for every project we want to participate !
