What escape path? What do you mean exactly?
The price is what people are willing to pay for it, not more not less.

Is there a sustainable future for bitcoin and cryptocurrency ? Bitcoin will become the coin of payment as its purpose is created. Or is it just a game of whales? A financial game with winners and losers

I read that shops/stores sell Bitcoin immediately and get cash because of fear of price change.

As Bitcoin is more accepted at shops/stores, Bitcoin selling will be more and bitcoin will come down to $2000 or $1,000

- Slow transaction speed
It's not slow. Don't mix up transaction speed with confirmation times. I would even say that Bitcoin is faster than it has been before. As long as miners aren't trolling, the average block time of Bitcoin will remain below the 10 minute mark.

- consumes a lot of energy
It does and it should. Plenty of this energy is renewable. Smiley

- It is banned in some countries
Still doesn't prevent people from using it. Smiley Also, the term banned has been subject to heavy abuse by news sources. Bans aren't always bans.

- Price manipulated
It has always been, just like every traditional market is being manipulated.

Is there a sustainable future for bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?
Bitcoin will become the coin of payment as its purpose is created. Or is it just a game of whales? A financial game with winners and losers
Bitcoin has a sustainable future, where I am not really convinced in other coins, but they aim to serve other parts of this industry. Good luck to them.

Perhaps you should start spending Bitcoin in order to see how fast or slow it is. Blocks are coming through like it's a summer sale.  Cheesy

LOL @ 2k or 1k NO WAY is that price ever happening again unless some sort of disaster happens in the crypto space. Just because shops will sell immediately doesn't mean the price will come down, there are plenty of people selling immediately all the time (look at miners). I think more liquidity would actually be a good thing for the market in the long run I mean that's what it's purpose is supposed to be a currency that will be traded 99% of the time....

What do you mean slowly. I think bitcoin is fast in the process and promises only occasional site builders that are less quickly coping with their transactions. And counting working hours so that's the delay

Did you read about the bitcointalk.org member (wongjack) who wants to sell 8000 Bitcoins because he wants to get out with his $60 million after 2000% price rise.

I believe that the main problem of bitcoin is the lack of relevance of its status in many world states. The absence of legality hinders the growth of the price of the main crypto currency. The unresolved issue of regulation does not allow investors to make major contributions to the development of this coin. Once this problem is solved, for bitcoin, the path to further growth will open.

we hope the government will have a bitcoin policy, especially now that there are many news that the government is fighting cryptocurrency, but we hope this technological innovation can be further developed for a better life.

The value of Bitcoin is still very high.
"high" is so abstract. high compared to what? i can say price of a Lambo is high, i want it to be worth $1 but it will never happen!

value is a concept that comes from utility and demand. and bitcoin has a lot of utility and its demand is increasing. on top of that its supply is small and also limited which makes it even more valuable.
the current price is too low considering.

Quote
Some problems of bitcoin are difficult to solve as :
- Slow transaction speed
transactions take 3 to 5 seconds to reach their  destinations so saying "slow transaction speed" is just bullshit.

Quote
- consumes a lot of energy
again "a lot" compared to what? i can say 1 KWh is a lot too and someone else can say a million times that is small.
bitcoin is not wasting the energy. it is using that energy to provide a useful utility: the one and only decentralized currency in the whole world! if it consumes 10000 times the current energy it is still worth it.

Quote
- It is banned in some countries
yeah 3 out of 195 (1.5%) have banned bitcoin. this is not a problem. even if 195 out of 195 countries have banned bitcoin it still wouldn't have been a problem because bitcoin is a decentralized currency and that is not just a word. if you don't understand what that means read about it to get how valuable it is.

Quote
- Price manipulated
price manipulation happen in every single market that have existed in human history. you can't say it is a "bitcoin problem".

bitcoin is already a currency that is being used my thousands of people every day. a lot of them are using it also as an investment but that doesn't change the fact that it is a currency.
the future is just more adoption, more growth, higher price, more stability, better features,...

There is a FOMO brewing...

a lot of conflicting issues on your post...anyway, Escape path? we can really understand this statement.. Bitcoin as introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009, had gone thru a lot of things in the trading market, just look at the price value of this coin and compared it to the what has become on today's price value. Bitcoin survived the beating on the issue of Banned,Scammer, and the never ending issue on Regulation by the government agency.

And by "we" you mean who exactly? NOT me, that's for sure. They can go fuck themselves, those governments you talk about.
I hope they will leave bitcoin alone, not a single damn law is needed for BTC benefit nor its users. In fact i have a strong feeling that any law "they" pass will horribly harm us and bitcoin image. Judging based on socialistic trends, they will be after your stuff, your btc wallet but thanks to satoshis pure genius, it wont be as easy as they would want it to be.
As long as we stay anonymous with our wallets, there is sustainable future for bitcoin.

The absence of legality brought us to $20,000 from $0.10 in 9 years, I am sure that it can easily surge much more than $20,000 if it continues to be out of the radar of governments and regulations. The main reason why Bitcoin took dive downward by 70% is due to increasing pressure by governments on its use. For example, Indian Central Bank has commanded banks in India to stop giving services to local exchanges, henceforth Indian prices fell by $1600. So it is better for Bitcoin to remain outside the legal status and move freely in unregulated markets. Only this can ensure its stability in long run.
What actually requires regulation is ICO and anonymous raising of money via ETH and other cryptocurrencies.

What escape path for Bitcoin?
What escape? what do you mean by that? did bitcoin put you in jail or something?

The value of Bitcoin is still very high
So you mean that the big dips aren't enough to satisfy you?

Some problems of bitcoin are difficult to solve as :
- Slow transaction speed
- consumes a lot of energy
- It is banned in some countries
- Price manipulated
Enough with these "problems" how about those other crypto's do they don't have their own "upgraded" coin but problems are still existing.

Did you forgot to add deaths of bitcoin?

Is there a sustainable future for bitcoin and cryptocurrency ?
If it doesn't have, why are you here? you gave the problems of bitcoin and you'll ask this?

Bitcoin will become the coin of payment as its purpose is created. Or is it just a game of whales? A financial game with winners and losers

What nonsense is this. The future of bitcoin will continue, what we are feeling is the technology. Ease in transactions we can feel now. For the price I think it is reasonable because the price always fluctuates, so this is not a problem.
