Isn't there a danger that mt gox starts figuring out who double spent and some of these people trading their gox bitcoins are actually bitcoins that have already been spent and were wrongly refunded to the traders account?

An interesting point. Very curious what people think about this.

Assuming the sellers here know they have been double-paid?   Grin

So currently there's no way to force a transaction through ? Can anyone explain if there's any way to do this?

At the moment Mt. Gox is at $368 while BTC-e is at $626.  368/626 is 0.588.

Why would anybody pay more than 58.8% for Gox BTC?  And given the possibility you may never get your Gox BTC out, you should pay significantly lower than that.

Yet over at bitcoinbuilder.com people are bidding up to 75% to own Gox BTC.  Not only can you arbitrage for good profit, you're exchanging jailed bitcoins for free bitcoins!

Looks like gox maintenance has been announced and internal Bitcoin transfers are suspended so this trading may have to be paused.

Goodbye MtGox! Today I've managed to sell the rest of my goxcoins using https://www.bitcoinbuilder.com/

Never return again. Lesson taken. History is in the making. Awaiting their downfall.

Can Mtgox reverse internal bitcoin transactions?

Does that increase the risk of buying goxBTC?

Yes.

Sort of.

If you have goxBTC you have to trust gox not to cheat.
I.e. you are already fully trusting them, so this doesn't really change anything.

How do you carry out an internal transfer, I might be interested in trading my bitcoin for mtgox coin for a good offer.

If anything I've said is vaguely useful feel free to show your appreciation
