FCKBanks now on 121. place on coinmarketcap.com  Undecided

We've only recently been listed. Unfortunately Fckbanks spent too long at a low difficulty, so it's going to take more time for the price to increase. KittehCoin had the exact same problem. We're on coinmarketcap now. We just have to keep promoting the coin, and keep moving forward.

Coins with development get over the 1 Satoshi barrier. It's part of the issue of high total number coins with a low starting difficulty. Once the coin gains attention walls will move.

A targeted move by the community to get on a better exchange would be the next step. Now we're on Coinmarketcap, we should all request Poloniex add fckbankscoin. That is a very achievable next step, and will increase our place on coinmarketcap due to the increased volume.

Yes?

If we want fckbankscoin to gain value we must all be more proactive. Our efforts will be rewarded.

its nice when people who are actually productive in their comments offer their actually useful opinions.

we are still working on the new wallet changes, the new website, the tip bot(s) and other things related to dev and for the fckbanks project in general, but it takes some time, these aren't our fulltime jobs yet Wink

I would say then that the community should focus on getting us listed on Poloniex.  Smiley

just curious, have you and spekske went to give your votes for fckbanks on poloniex freshdesk? or asked to get added on poloniex trollbox?
many have said that poloniex would be great place to be for us, but so far I've seen 2 besides me actually go there to give vote to speak for that, or to ask it on trollbox.
it's easier to get exchanges on our side when people actually show them we want to be there instead of me and few asking it.the more we ask it there, the bigger chanse there is for us to get added.

And no, I don't mean to be rude to anyone as I know you've been supporting coin from the start to the end, but what my point is that we all need to do our part in order to go forward.

EDIT: I stand corrected as I just checked it, 3 people besides me on freshdesk has voted for the idea of getting us listed

Guy this what we need to promote this coin:
1.Make Android wallet for FCK.
2.Get FCK to poloniex.
3.Promoting FCK on social media.
4.Voting on mintpal.

You have to dish out a little premine on fb and twitter. Write what is the purpose of FCK and give 10k for sharing and retweet. I think that I it would really help.

heres a little tip for all of you people who i guess you don't know.

pumping and dumping is fraud, being involved in one is actually illegal in *A LOT* of countries, and is actually a pretty serious crime in some of them.

a lot of people say stupid things like 'its not the same because this isn't sec regulated', well that is actually false, the sec isn't anything to do with legalities, they are just a body that was created to help regulate wall street trading, pump and dumps existed before them (and exist after them) and have been illegal before and after as fraud (basically conning people out of money or asset value).

another thing people don't understand is any 'pumps' created by fraudsters, have them dumping into their stupid patsies buy walls as the 'pump' goes on. i'm not sure that many of you understand the actual mechanics of a pump & dump but let me post some information on how they work.

http://cryptogeeks.com/live-bitcoin-trading-lesson-how-do-pump-and-dumps-work

http://pumpdump.wordpress.com/2014/01/30/this-is-how-pump-and-dumps-work/

basically if you are involved in a 'pump and dump' that you heard about (or even worse, paid to be involved in) *YOU* are their profit.

Well, at this point I don't care.  The dumpers have been depressing all of the markets, and keeping them depressed.  If FCK pump to 2 or 3 satoshi, and I can sell off for that, I'm going to take it.  I'd prefer more, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.  I have my meager 1.3m of hash going into bulking my FCK holding.   You can't beat them, and someone (most likely more than 'one') has bots that do their trading form them that factors coin parameters to keep all the coin markets low to within a certain percentage variance.

Don't jump too fast, the only thing holding back a realistic value for FCK is the current hashrate, the best comparison would probably be RDD coin, it has almost the same total amount, 109 billion to be released compared to FCK's 84 billion, blocktime is 60 seconds and blockreward is the same at 100.000 per block, RDD is valued at 7 satoshi, so with block halving coming very soon for FCK that would indicate a realistic value of 14 satoshi or higher for FCK, besides that FCK is one of the few coins that actually has a story behind it and is trying to make a point, which also should add to the value  Grin

currently what you are experiencing with some of the markets at the moment are actually scrypt asics
thats what is happening to doge at the moment as well as some other 'larger' coins, since they are 'more profitable' than litecoin at the moment people are using their new asics to mine/dump

we are planning on changing the pow soonish on fckbanks, we are just wanting to make sure the process is as painless as possible, but we feel that being asic hostile is the only future for a truly decentralized crypto currency, at the moment our most likely choice of algo is going to be adaptive n which is implemented by vertcoin and some other coins, and has miners for nvidia and amd and cpu that can do both scrypt and adaptive n, which will allow people to not only mine fcks but switch if they so choose back to an scrypt only coin.. tho scrypt coins will be donefor sooner than later if they don't change algos (i suspect you'll be seeing soon that they will)
