On the first page I read that Timechain will allow the users to circumvent exchanges and deal crypto directly without the need to use exchanges but directly from the wallet - but won't this require some additional security and protocols?

Hopefully team has thought about that , since I don't trust smartphones yet.Would be nice if someone from the could say a bit more on this issue.

Direct trading is the future but there are a lot of questions to be answered before that happens. The security issue is the big one at the moment. And I don't see exchanges not fighting back so it will be a hard one to carry out.

So it is not safe to keep crypto on your smartphone? What is the safest wallet?

Safest way would be to just get Ledger.

Maybe timechain will have something better then legder. More secure.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

will the unsold token be burnt?

I guess,thats standard and easiest thing to do with unsold tokens.

Is there any way those tokens can be reused for something else and not burned?

Well they can and some projects have done it that way but it usually brings concern from the community as those tokens could be used in certain ways that the community disapproves of.

They could always lift bounty rewards.

Can the team do that? If all tokens are not spent, can they make more bounty?

pffff, I guess they could, but that just raises the level of suspicion in the community. I don't know, that just dosen't seem like the best solution if you ask me.

You're right -it's probably best to stick to their original allocation plan. Maybe if there was a WP there would be more info about this as well..

This is their plan:
Desktop app for initial launch
Mobile app for Android and IOS in 2019

So I'm assuming that the desktop app could now be in development.

The project is based on modern technologies, developing a very promising direction. It is worth to join. Combining several innovative areas in one project should lead to its success. Perhaps this project will be one of the market leaders, it has everything you need for this.

BUt that is just a generalization - can you name one specific feature that leads it in a promising direction? is it additional security?

Some answers!

- We do not have Kopi Luwak, sorry. It's overrated anyways;

- The Wallet app is currently in Alpha stage, it should be publicly released soon;

- @Sarma Our advisors are listed on timechain.com

- @Lognak I think centralization of services is a strong enough selling point for now;

Feel free to tag me directly for more questions!

Thank you for answering community questions. And for the update - so it means you guys are testing it, does that continue in Beta too? or will it be open?

You're welcome! We are testing it, yes - and it will continue in beta at least for an iteration or two. We plan on opening it to a limited subset of the people who have subscribed to our mailing list (which you can do on timechain.com) - we don't want to release to the general public if there are any risks considering the matter we're dealing it. So in general I would say you can expect to have it during the last beta iterations at the earliest (which is likely 3-6 weeks away)

Are you going to engage those people to make some kind of video review of beta testing?
