Are there any other advantages to using Rai other than the ultra low transaction costs?

Do you have a schedule for bounty campaigns? I heard you're doing multiple bounty campaigns?

Why is this the currency for producers? What about regular people, does that means we can't have this coins?
Will it limiting the investors of this project?

Speed, scalability, safety. Also the code base is very high quality and easy to build off of. We've forked raiblocks and will add the Diamond Lattice (masternodes + privacy + staking rewards + DAO) in the future.

Do you have a schedule for bounty campaigns? I heard you're doing multiple bounty campaigns?
We're currently working on an awareness bounty campaign for inviting your friends and followers to sign up to Bolt. If you register at join.bolt.bz you'll be notified when they're ready. I've also been posting updates in the Discord. You'll earn 1 BLT for each invitation who signs up plus half of your invitee's earnings. Your invitees also get 1 BLT and can also invite on their own.

We have bounty campaigns planed for miners, finding software bugs, and more. If there's something you'd like to do, feel free to ask and I can see about arranging a bounty for it. Our community is very open to giving people BLT for contributing.

Why is this the currency for producers? What about regular people, does that means we can't have this coins?
Will it limiting the investors of this project?
Anyone can earn BLT by Mining; you can also exchange BLT for products made by Producers. However, the focus is on assisting Producers. Mining in Bolt is very different from other currencies in that it is structured to help Producers make real products to build an economy around Bolt.

Bolt is a philanthropic project and we aren't trying to recruit investors. Anyone can contribute to the community by Mining, supporting DFOs, participating in Bounty campaigns, or any other way. However, Bolt is not an investment as Bolt tokens are not backed by anything, promise no profits or rewards, or have any inherent value.

Will you guys be attending Distributed 2018 in San Francisco July 19?
Bolt is still in too early a stage to consider the conference circuit. Once the Bolt marketplace is in Beta (late fall/early winter 2018) we will begin selecting conferences to attend.

You say the Beta should be ready before 2019? Is the alpha ongoing? Can I participate?

The Alpha isn't up yet, and it's simple enough that the devs will do most of the testing at that stage. The early Beta will be only open to people who previously signed up at join.bolt.bz.

Is there a place for designers in the Bolt economy?
Yes! There's opportunities for designers to work with DFOs. Designers can also receive grants from DFOs, although the terms of the grants will be different than for production with a physical product.

Is there a Git or something I could take a closer look at how this would actually work from a technical standpoint?

For a successful ICO
Bolt is a philanthropic project. There is no ICO; Bolt tokens are not investments, do not have any value, and do not offer any future profits.

Is there a Git or something I could take a closer look at how this would actually work from a technical standpoint?
Yes. Check out https://github.com/boltlabs.
You should also check out appendix in the whitepaper on the Diamond Lattice.

What made you guys decide not to do an ICO? You're worried about the regulations?

What made you guys decide not to do an ICO? You're worried about the regulations?
ICOs benefit large institutional investors who may not have the best interests of the community at heart. We've seen a lot of these institutions intentionally crash the value of cryptocurrencies to make a few quick bucks.
At the same time, you're right to point out the regulatory issues, which are only going to grow in the future.
In the end, we decided it was best to pursue Bolt as a philanthropic community based project. That doesn't mean we are going to airdrop any BLT, but it does mean that people who contribute to the community earn Bolt.

Are you guys actively looking for new advisors?
We're always looking for advisers to join our community. The few we've had so far have provided incredibly valuable input, especially in finding a strategic niche to fill. Originally our focus was entirely on the tech of the Diamond Lattice, but after talking to our advisers and considering why we are interested in cryptocurrency in the first place, we decided that building a grant based ecosystem was what we wanted to do, and an empty niche to fill.

Interesting project.

"PRODUCERS
Create your product and put it on the market. Sign up at join.bolt.bz and get notified
when new grants are available. Propose your project to a DFO providing grants near you and receive Bolt
to fund your dreams. Miners who select your project will send you the supplies you need. Once your project
is complete, sell your product for Bolt. Show the community your product and we'll share it with potential
customers."

So if I uderstood correctly it is  like a kick starter project?

How are you guys generating income presently for marketing and development?
For the next few months, we're focused on building our core group of supporters. This has several major advantages to an early big marketing push. First, we can quickly modify the project as we get feedback from the community. Second, our current team has enough time, resources, and connections to build an audience and build Bolt software without sacrificing the values of our project for outside funding.

After the core community is built, DFOs are critical to building a larger audience, raising awareness of Bolt projects and services, developing new Bolt-based software, and upgrading Bolt's protocol. DFOs will need to seek out financial sponsorships to fund certain projects, though we expect the majority of the tasks will be done by passionate community participants for BLT.

Interesting project.

"PRODUCERS
Create your product and put it on the market. Sign up at join.bolt.bz and get notified

So if I uderstood correctly it is  like a kick starter project?
You're right to point out the similarities between Bolt and Kickstarter. One major difference is how projects are funded. Kickstarter focuses on funding a budget for a particular project while Bolt Miners pick specific goods to deliver to Producers. Another major difference is the rewards contributors receive. In Kickstarter, contributors receive some sort of physical object as a reward. For Bolt, rewards are in BLT.

It's also important to point out that Kickstarter is focused on getting new projects off the ground, while Bolt is willing or even prefers existing projects with a proven track record. Once enough Producers get onto Bolt Markets, it will be possible for Producers to directly Mine from each other by sending goods other Producer's projects require. This makes Bolt's scope a lot larger; its ultimate goal is to build a new economy based around grants.
