10 days ago I've sent 700 euro to mtgox account via bank transfer. It was after assurance from Mark Karpeles (admin@mtgox.com) that bank account is correct and I can send money there. 10 days later my money is gone and there is completely no feedback from mtgox. I've send 4 e-mails there since then. I know this eu bank transfer usually takes one day to come. And my point is, even if it would not be there, I expect some kind of feedback within 10 days from somebody who is running something that I have to trust with my money. I'm very disappointed.

Variance is a bitch!

He's got a lot going on.   He took over Mt. Gox and is still learning the ropes. He has to resolve the stolen BTC situation.   And he has to contend with a disaster in Japan.   I would expect some response by now even if it's just a status update.

I made EU bank transfer to Mt. Gox 8 days ago and still didn't get money to Mt. Gox account. If they are having some problems or a lot of work it would be nice to inform people, who sent money. I am still confident Mt. Gox didnt go rogue.

Hi,

As you may know, we are now based in Japan. We didn't expect to have earthquake/tsunami/nuclear trouble (pick one or more) and this has caused some delays in handling transactions.

Rest assured that we are still doing fine (except we are now working with limited hardware and moved temporarly away from Tokyo) and that transactions will be handled within the next hours (I just added this to the list of things to do in priority).

Thanks,
Mark

Is there okay now? The earthquake caused a lot of concerning world-wide, in China there has been a large demand for salt these days, for many people concern about the polluted seawater Sad

I wonder if the Mt. Gox index's going down recently has also something to do with the earthquake.

I have also just had my funds credited to my account, so it looks like any problems have been resolved.
