https://www.globaltechinsights.com/bithumb-hacked-south-korean-crypto-currency-exchange-loses-30million/

What was frustrating for the Investors, was that this statement was retracted without giving any further clarification. Later the company said that they wanted to investigate the matter properly before making any further official statement. The company has reported everything to The Korean Internet and Security Agency.

What steps did Bithumb take to protect      https://www.globaltechinsights.com/bithumb-hacked-south-korean-crypto-currency-exchange-loses-30million/

Recently it is being heard that the exchange of the South Korea for crypto currency has lost 30 million USD worth of bitcoins. The Korean Internet and Security Agency will investigate the matter properly on behalf of the company.

It is good news for them but not for investors who trusted them and saved their monies there for trading. What I am looking for is that they do well and recover all the stolen amount. It will only mean they have lost more than have of their funds. These attacks have really affected the cryptomarkets.

But Bithumb exchanges have chosen to bear the losses themselves, so they have paid out all users' capital losses, which is bad news in the short term.
In the long run, however, this means that Bithumb exchanges will choose to check for their bugs.

This is sad indeed. The news of hacking and such events are often occurring. The system needs to tighten up or else this will pose a great deal of threat for the investors. This will also put the reputation on the line of the companies. Let’s hope it will recover soon.

This is a big shock and frustrating for Investors who invest in such Exchange, this is not good news at all, it can discourage so many people who want to go into crypto investment, i think all those exchange should pay a cyber security experts to protect their website for them anything that involve money should also involve big security protection.

Every exchanging service when becomes big with millions of funds on wallets it would be a honeypot for anyone to try and take those coins somehow, This is the downside of centralized exchanges, Not the first and won't be the last. They say it was a hack but we all know that's not always true. Always exchanges with Bit in their names getting hacked  Cheesy
Bad news for this market. Not acceptable. Its true hacking is a threat for the market but for protecting this every project needs to improve their blockchain technology. If hacking increase then people will afraid to invest on this market.
Nonsense, exchanges are services with possibly some inside help for the hackers, There is nothing wrong with proof of work blockchains and their security.

That makes sense if it is not of the proof of work blockchains, its a inside job that happens with that amount don't you think working under it would give you more in just a few days or so? With that being said a $30 million is so big and exchanges like Bithumb will take years to have that much, that is one of the problems with exchanges right now even if their security is fully operational if it is done inside there is nothing you can do.

Recently in New York, the conference talked about security problems! even our beloved bitcoin had very problems, and they had to solve and change the system very quickly! The safety and security of investor money is a very important fact for attracting investments! on this, all exchanges, wallets and all systems should pay great attention to this and pour in a lot of money to make people feel safe!
