At the very beginning i should say that scam ICOs are not one of the main reasons of downfall of BITCOIN. Of course many ICOs are now not in the safe Zone. It can effect the interest of the good investors & can lead to ban on advertisements like happened in facebook.

Bitcoin price fluctuates due to many reasons & ICO effect is one minor problems. If you are intending to invest in bitcoin do believe & collect more at this dip. Consider the technology behind crypto & don't forget world moves with the best & better & easiest technology. Blockchain is revolutionize & fulfill all the requirements to revolutionize the world. Your main focus should not be the adoption of BTC but the future of bitcoin as bitcoin is known & accepted in every corner of the world.

every day new ICOS arise and 8 out of 10 ICOS are a scam, many people are losing their money and because of these scams they no longer invest in cryptocurrencies, and because of all this the bitcoin ends up losing confidence. So the ICOS is the quasante of the fall of bitcoin? What do you think?

Yes,it also maybe a reason for the price fall with the bitcoin but people to be educate themselves before investing onto something if they blindly invested onto something then they can't blame anyone. If someone who just new to crypto will be better to avoid ICO investments and invest the coins which is already got reputation then it may give the trust about the crypto currencies. But if all the people knows how to get safe from scam ICOs then they will fade away soon.

My opinion is different from you, which causes Bitcoin to fall because of the scam ICO and the investors are not careful in choosing the right ICO.
my own experience can be successful with investing in ICO coins and the results can be multiplied.
the point is not the ICO coin that dropped Bitcoin but the con artists who managed to deceive many people.

NO but it is the opposite. These ICO help to increase the market price of bitcoin because most of these ICO's are ethereum platform base and as we all know that ethereum is the direct alternative coin for bitcoin. These ICO's are using ethereum to exchange their crypto and ethereum to bitcoin to fiat money. So the participation of bitcoin and ethereum is there with the ICO promotion.

one of my theories about the current bitcoin price fall is like this. since this fall is not a normal one in my opinion there has to be other reasons including manipulation and altcoin dumps.

ICOs and altcoins alike are losing value and that is a huge amount of money that is exiting their respective markets. during a dump like this, it is always big players that are cashing out their money. what they do is that they sell their tokens/altcoins for bitcoin and then sell that bitcoin for fiat. and that can bring bitcoin price down also.

There is a FOMO brewing...

The ICOs do receive ETH. But how did you come to the conclusion that the ICO teams exchange the ETH to BTC to fiat? Also, with the transaction flow you said, then they still ended up selling the BTC in the end. So how is it the opposite?

I am partially agree with you. I agree that scam ICOs are destroying the reputation of cryptocurrency and at this moments it is high time took necessary steps to prevent it. But on the other hand new ICOs are also building the community of cryptocurrency. The bigger the community the better the price. So new ICO other than scams are actually helping bitcoin.

Though too much ICOs are launching everyday, we cannot say that it has a direct correlation with the price of Bitcoin. If these people that keep on investing to these scam ICOs it is because of their lack of due diligence to study it. There are unicorns ICOs for sure, keep an eye. You might miss it. And I think Bitcoin is a league of it's own to be really affected by scam ICOs. There are different animals. So I think the ICOs do not cause the fall of Bitcoin.

It is not appropriate to blame the decline of bitcoin because of ICOs. Once we accept this idea then we can reverse it to ICOs  can make bitcoin more higher value than before. In that case bitcoin is dependent to altcoins that actually very wrong because as far as I know altcoins dependent to bitcoin.

I do not think that's what makes bitcoin prices go down but because there are two exchanges that successfully hacked by hackers, I think that's what makes the price of bitcoin down this time

I think the only way how unsuccessful ico's can contribute into bitcoin price fall as that they harm people's trust in cryptocurrencies in general, so we need to be more aware of scam.

What is happening in many of ICOs, is not good for cryptocurrencies reputation. But this is not the the reason of bitcoin price fall. I am sure whales are manipulating the market. They increased the price to 20000. That was not healthy. And this dump is also unhealthy. But the reason is not ICOs.

Well you are right those scam ICOs are the reason why the bitcoin market is going down because most of those ICOs a scam and means of stealing money from the people, instead of investing in any token that does not have any good potential the best to do is to keep you found because you will end up losing at the end and this are the reason why many investors are scared of investing in bitcoin today.

I think a lot of the factors that make bitcoin go down may be one of them is bitcoin decreased confidence, so people are thinking about investing in cryptocurrency. So if we want to invest first make sure that our money will not be stolen by the program offered.

Yes, it is true that scams are affecting world's perception towards cryptocurrencies but that has nothing to do with the fall of Bitcoin. It is completely the result of fear of missing out from the new investors having no research and vision for their investments. There is a lack of awareness about the crypto industry and big whales and institutional investors take the benefit of this factor in order to earn high gains from this situation.

I believe that ico's does not do anything with the market price drop but fud is affecting the prices in the market because people prefer to sell their coins more than holding it due to panicking since the market prices are dumping right now.

altcoin dumps and bubble bursts can contribute to the bitcoin drop but not ICOs because ICOs are mostly receiving ETH and nothing else and when they scam, run away, or simply get dumped people dump them for ETH, some of them don't have any other way of exiting than ETH so if anything they are dumping ETH price not bitcoin's.

but altcoins as I said can cause a bitcoin drop in my experience. as they get dumped hard a lot of money exits the market and they usually run back to fiat and since majority of them don't have a fiat market or the traders are not on an exchange that has  a fiat market (don't confuse USDT with fiat) they have to go through bitcoin.
