LOL your price cracks me up you made my day! you are not going to get customers here at these prices! Good luck with your shop though. You should just say that you are selling technobit miners at a markup for immediate delivery.

Technobit avalon2 prices are 269Euro each. These devices are being sold here for $320 CAD (212 euro). Our Bitfury based boards are within $50 of Technobits prices.

Oh and thanks for the sales advice but it seems a little off based on the orders so far.

Sorry cannachris I meant to ask, at what price should we be selling the Avalon2 based boards so as to attract "customers here"?

Fedex shipping? I'm not going to pay $20 to ship something via ground... Not unless I was doing heavy freight.

I get it Walking Glitch, personally I grudge paying for any of the couriers as the service is normally shit - here anyway.

I've put on a discount code on all miners for Bitcointalk members:

code: bitcointalk01
discount: 15%

5-7.5$ per Gh

but yes your price on the hex16a2 is not unfair. I thought you were advertising in us$, sorry.

I would probably snatch a Hex16a2 for the discounted price if BTC was over $1k, but it's not worth .388 imo. Nothing seller can do either, technobit just sells them for too much.

No problem at all. I'm going to try and drop the price further ASAP!

How can people know that your site is legitimate?

If by legitimate as in are we a real company i can send you some more detail. If you are asking about the products, we can arrange some performance tests. If legitimate as in; will we steal your money and not send you anything, i suppose we have little to go by other than the say so of others. I can arrange to have character witnesses from CaVirtex, Technobit, Burnin Mining & Asic-Hardware to vouch for our "character" and trustworthiness. I have no problem putting these on the website but i couldn't think of a way to do it that wouldn't make it look fake..... ironically.

Open to suggestions on this topic!

Melmo at the moment Paypal and CC are not available. In the past (like many on this forum) we have lost money to the dishonest reclaiming money through Paypal and their credit card companies.

This is a pain in the ass i know. Just going through the money laundering and business check with Western Union to allow payment via them.

Hope this helps.

I have many cryptocurrency projects in various stages of development, I invite you to consider using them as an advertising vehicle for your mining equipment .

You can reserve free advertising spaces now if you wish, before all of them are taken.

I will be in touch again as each project nears launch.

OK, thanks

Well damn I hit a snag but it's totally on my end though. DAMN YOU Capital One 360!!!
We agreed on a BTC price. Now I just got to wait on Coinbase to clear my BTC. I knew I should of taken a left turn at Albuquerque (bought more BTC when I did last week)!  Roll Eyes

It doesn't matter what you agree for the price, if you buy it through the website it's whole different BTC you're going to pay.

It's a long story dealing with the fact my bank doesn't really do wire transfers. It's a Capital One 360 account that use to be an ING account. ING back in the day had AWESOME savings APR!!! I'm talking like 20% compounded interest. No joke!
Anyway I got off subject.  Wink
This is from the email convo we had earlier today.

"Yeah thats fine. Im going to see if i can ship it to the US
tomorrow and have it held by a local broker. It would mean once we
receive payment you could probably get them next day.
I'll get back to you.
I confirm price agreed at .847 BTC"

Besides nothing has been paid yet. So if I was an ass and BTC starts heading back to $1000 plus again. There's always a chance that I could pull out of the deal. I'm not going to do that. That would be such an a-hole move!
He also knows that I'm putting this on the forum. I'm doing it because it helps to kinda protect me and him somewhat. He has an online shop that he has going and having a good rep and history of happy buyers especially on this forum is golden. The same could kinda be said about me. I may not have a shop but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be buying more stuff from here and I can foresee myself selling here too.
People don't want to buy or sell to someone who has screwed someone over and having everything out in the open creates a transparency of the history of the purchase.

I'm interested in your product but your payment options don't offer me a lot of protection if you take my money and don't send me the product.  This is compounded by the fact you have no trust in your profile.

Age old problem here Riley600. Like most we have been victims of theft and scammers - to the tune of 10's of thousands. Our payments options lean heavily in our favour - I freely admit this.

As far as character trust goes, Martin at Technobit and Joeri at asic-machines will vouch for us.

On bigger orders we offer escrow through sebastianju.

Feel free to send me a number to reach you on and i can walk you through our history etc.

In fact as a gesture of good will. Fill out an order on the website and select Personal Bitcoin transfer and I will dispatch the board to you. Once you receive it, i'll leave it down to you to pay for it.

Thanks for the interest.

i made a purchase as well and was told it should get shipped tomorrow. will post update when they are received.

edit: received tracking number and waiting for tracking information to be updated.

edit2: fedex should have updated something at this point. no update on whether anything was actually shipped.

edit3: finally got estimate from fedex when package should arrive. over 11 days.

you may want to revise your jupiter prices or get rid of them on ebay asap as there's a new "28nm bitmain" player from taiwan that has already started ready-to-make 1th miners for just USD 8000 + shipping...  Cheesy

The Fedex truck pulled up today and finally delivered my units, the Avalon2 24GH units, which I bought despite my bad experience with Avalon which I'm still bitter about.  I downloaded the 0.2.0 OpenWRT image off the Technobit website and flashed my TP-Link MR-3020 and fired up a couple.  Now I wish I had bought more of them Smiley

The hash rates bounce around a bit, I think this is because of the ancient Enermax power supply I'm running them off.  The unit that is showing 20GH in cgminer was running at a stable 23-24GH when I had it plugged into a Corsair HX850.

Here's a crappy photo and a screen grab of cgminer running, and yes, that is an IBM usb keypad that I'm using as a hub:

You're sold out of the 45 GH/s units?  The title says they are still in stock and ship immediately but they are listed as sold out under the product description.  Will you be getting more in the future if they are actually sold out?

I dont think i could call them plug and play. They are reasonably straight forward to get going but some tweaking can be required if you really want to get the best out of them.

It's been 4 days since I first emailed you about paying. As I said I don't want to be a pest and I was planning to be buying from you on almost a monthly basis but if you don't want my business or my BTC then please just cancel my order so I can take my BTC some place else.   Undecided

Reckman I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt but I've gotten no response at all. I also have seen aopa38 online on the forum. This morning in fact! I was one of the first ones to try to order and was super happy to be one of the first. Not contacting me or saying hey I'm sorry been real busy or anything is just making this worse than it should be. At this point I'm really thinking of just cancelling my order. Which I don't want to do! I had full intention of paying for the goods I had ordered and had hoped to make this a common thing but it looks like it's not going to be. Five days and five different emails with no kind of response sucks!  Undecided

The op has been on and off all day but no answers or posts.
You know otrkid70 I have no idea what's up with aopa Huh The only reason I didn't cancel my order is because what I had said earlier on the forum.

I'm holding up my end of the deal and I'm really hoping that aopa is going to hold up his end. If not then I'm out the BTC that I sent. Which my order is still pending.

I know.  Embarrassed
The only reason I have somewhat hope is because a full member has bought from him and another has said they have been busy and are legit. The sad thing is I really was planning on ordering from him about once a month to help with starting a mini farm and now I'm just hoping I don't get eff-ed over. It's pretty safe to say this will be the first and last time I order from him.   Undecided

He was on a little while ago. I think if he has enough time to log on here he should have enough time to respond to the thread.

Even if he is Legit it's a crappy way to run a business.  Bad for customers to make them wait and wait.
My thoughts exactly!
I felt like I was begging him to take my money. WTF is that about??? I know that if I had someone contacting to give me money then my happy self would be like right on! Here's the address to send it to. It took Five emails and six days for me to get an address to send the payment to. All I got was this "PLease use" and "Many thanks" with no explanation whatsoever.

Thanks chiefstank at lest that gives me some kind of hope about getting my stuff and not getting screwed over. I got a EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650 G last weekend. I'm hoping that should be more then enough juice to run four 24gh models.  Roll Eyes

Link comes up as private listing because I was logged in when I copied the link. You should be able to find bitcoinpal's shop on ebay.

ORTkid70 sorry for the delay, we have been inundated with spurious orders - presumably to derail our business. For the people who had placed orders and paid we have given free additional 24gh/s machines as way of compensation.

If you are still interested let me know and ill see what we can do.

Inundated with bullshit fake orders in the last couple of days.

Your order has been completed and the boards are waiting to be collected by Fedex.

Let me know if you want to cancel I will gladly refund your BTC plus 20% for your time.

Cheers

The op has been on and off all day but no answers or posts.
You know otrkid70 I have no idea what's up with aopa Huh The only reason I didn't cancel my order is because what I had said earlier on the forum.

I'm holding up my end of the deal and I'm really hoping that aopa is going to hold up his end. If not then I'm out the BTC that I sent. Which my order is still pending.

Aopa,
I still want and have paid for my order. I think that the extra will make up for the short comings. I thank you for compensating us! All of us here just want to get updates or just find out where to pay you. As I said, I emailed you five times just to the address to pay you. I didn't want or foresee this. All I wanted was for this to be a good and happy thing and now I'm at your mercy. All of here have seen you come on and off the forum. If you would have said what was going on ALL OF THIS could of been avoided. Please think of what would have you done if the shoe was on the other foot. I gladly wait for my miners and I do hope that even after this mess you have a great business! I carry no malice towards you or your business. And once again I thank you for owning up and compensating us.
Thanks,

   Voo

Lets be clear I come online to check the personal messages not to read this thread all the time. You did email me 5 times but that was to arrange payment. As i said, we concentrated on the people who had already paid and ensured they were updated first and dispatched first. On another note, I held your order for almost a week and i did it without complaint.

Anyone is free to cancel the orders at any time and full refunds plus compensation will be given.

Of the hundreds of orders so far we have had less than 5 cases like this.

Its as simple as this, people who order and have already paid are dealt with first. For the unfortunate couple of people who were unable to pay us for their order in the last few days we apologise, but others came first and were priority. While updating this thread and the general public with "what was going on" would of been nice it was way down the priority list. People had paid and deserved our attention first.

If this pisses you off or you disagree, no problem we will be happy to refund you.

Again sorry for inconvenience.

I'm not nor was I ever pissed or angry. I was just concerned when nothing happend. Then I became even more concerned when other people didn't hear from you too. It seems to be a simple case of lack of communication or miscommunication. And yes I did thank you and still do thank you for holding the order for a week for me. I also understand first come first served. That was never really an issue. As I said all I wanted was just for this to be a good thing for the both of us. I look forward on hashing away on the miners I got from you and wish you great business on your site.

No i do not wish to keep my order. I know people/companies get busy and there is delay sometimes but i just don't believe what you have posted on here about just checking msg's and now this thread.

If even at the very least that were true you would have seen my pm to you and answered it.
There are 1 of 3 reasons that this is happening

1.- You are one of the worst customer relation business i have ever seen.

2.- You Don't have the stock you claim you have and are building/ordering the units as they are ordered.

3.- this is a huge Scheme.

No matter which of the 3 you fall under it's horrible and i'll keep My BTC you keep your machines.
Thanks

Excellent. In honour of Otrkid70 the first person to PM me with their name and address will be given his order completely free of charge.

Have a nice day.

You wouldn't have to prove yourself this way had you Taken care of those of us that placed orders before. Like this Example:

"Lets be clear I come online to check the personal messages not to read this thread all the time. You did email me 5 times but that was to arrange payment. As i said, we concentrated on the people who had already paid and ensured they were updated first and dispatched first. A good businessman is NEVER too busy to answer their customers.

Thanks for tip

22-25 I'm using the setup for RPI Zich posted on the technobit avalon gen 2 forum. I also cut the red power cord in the USB's to stop the power from bleeding out.

By the way, you are selling the miners much cheaper and shipping them faster than technobit($175 CAD vs €250).

That's a good fricken question. Never tried to push them that hard. We have had 27GH/s from them max, but stability varies wildly between boards. At 27GH/s they were pulling more than 95w.

If I have time tomorrow i'll push a board to destruction and capture the results. Might give you an idea of the upper limits.
