It could also have something to do with the huge increase in traffic they have had in the last 36 hours.  A backup server would be nice, but I'll deal with a little downtime from mcx compared to the bullshit that coins-e was putting people through with their weak coding and servers.

Every site that was linked to this coin release was down multiple times in the last few days.  You have to give them some credit for being able to stay up.  Last night that place was flooded with people waiting to see if there would be a pump during the live broadcast of the KReport (aired at 9:30am in london).

Not saying it's good practice to shut an exchange like this, but it was actually during one of the more stable times for MaxCoin so far.  Max crashed lower last night than it was trading at today, and they didn't close it down then.  I would think if there was a malicious motive to the shutdown, it would've been when it went from 006 down to 003 late last night.

The reason he upgrade is because of Maxcoin.

Not because the coin is crashing but because its popularity increased the server-load and revealed Amazon is capping the mcxNOW's back-end bandwitch to 500 Mbps instead of 1 Gbps.

I know he want to have a 10 Gbps single link soon, but I don't know if it's what he's actually doing right now.

P.S: Maxcoin was not crashing, that was yesterday. Now it's only in a downtrend

RS is all about smoke and mirrors & some people will never learn and keep following the FUD, it happens all the time in "real" life.  Tongue

There's enough topics on mcxnow.com and RealSolid now that anybody losing their money there doesn't have anybody but themselves to blame.

It was already down to 0.003-ish when the servers were pulled offline. The real crash happened from 0.04 all the way down to 0.007, and the site remained up during that.

I think you are trying to make this into a bigger thing than it is.

You're an interesting creature BCX, you claim to hate Realsolid and say his exchange is a scam yet you continue to use it.

Then when the slightest thing goes wrong with his exchange you harp on it yet you continue to hump Cryptsy's leg like a horny dog even though it's slower then my grandmother, and many people have had coins simply vanish there.

It's easy to be smooth as silk when you fake most of your volume.

Then where is the fee money coming from? Mind explaining that or are you just spouting some crypto conspiracy theory?
