Something to consider is what the multipool is in fact mining. The pools that are mining away on the more profitable coins, especially your new hot altcoin de jour, seem to have a higher output compared to a pool mining more mature coins. That could possibly explain why hashcows has been more profitable these past few days, all according to poolpicker.eu
I can not say anything for the longer period as I just switched to this kind of pool mining one week ago.

My understanding is that this would undermine the components of PPLNS that make it successful.  Basically, the longer you stay with one PPLNS the more you get and it can take over 24 hours for the full profitability to be reached.  For such a thing to work it would have to be able to evaluate and project profitability encompassing time spans over 24 hours.  This would be really something.  For now, it's just as well to use something like pool picker.  Just watch it day by day and see how various pools are doing and then make your decision or change up based on weekly trends.

The results are in! The winner is CleverMining!

CleverMining0,0429
WafflePool0,0423
Hashcows0,0327
Hashbros0,0306
CoinSolver0,0262
MiddleCoin Amsterdam0,0223

It was a close call between CleverMining and WafflePool, they gave me practically the same results. However, CleverMining has a high reject rate (10-30%), with closer servers coming in the future I expect higher payouts. MiddleCoin admitted they had problems with stats and founding blocks, so their result may not be representative over the long term, as said earlier they gave me the highest payout before. Unfortunately, Hashbros announced they will shut down soon - so they don't really count anymore. And for some reason I can't find my results for the MiddleCoin EU mining.

tl;dr: Mine on CleverMining or Wafflepool

That is absolutely not true right now. Celvermining did about 0.007 in the past two days I am with them. Pretty disappointed. I just made my electricity money.

Previously I did 0.0109 on my own mining different coins and trading for BTC. I\t did take about 4 hours a day of my time but it was fun too.

I think you're a little upset but this is wrong.

No, he talks about clevermining. I'm in too with a rig of 1MH to test. The stats reported on CM website are accurate.

So far exactly 100 hours of up time on Clevermining, I started Sunday March 2 and here are my results:

My hashrate according to Multiminer 2.67MH/s (less than 1% reject)
My hashrate according to Cleverminig 2.20MH/s (about 12% reject)

Overall profits in 4 days 4 hours (100 hours) = 0.06873 BTC
Divided by 100hrs * 24  = 0.01632 BTC / MH/s /Day
Daily profit based on my ACTUAL 2.67MH/s hashrate in 4 days =  0.006177 / MH.s/ Day <-- Not very pleased  Undecided

In all fairness its been really bad in the past two weeks, and it may be getting worse. All January Coinwarz used to show I can make 1 BTC in 30 days or less with my RIG (thats 0.012 BTC/MH/Day). My personal avg switching coins manually every few hours using new altcoins and coinwarz yielded me 0.0108 BTC/Day per MH. Not soo bad, but it took about 4 hours of my day. with Clevermining now I spend 4 minutes a day just making sure its up and running.

So where is all this hashrate coming from? AMD is continuously out of stock everywhere. I think there may be lot more ASICs than we know of that stupid 70kh/s USB dual miner BS. There may be Gigahash ASICs coming out for Scrypt and not advertised yet and this has started specially since early February.

Maybe I should switch to VTC. But I have no idea how to calculate profitability for that. The Windows miner is not on Vertcoin.org and even when it was it raised all kinds of virus alerts when I downloaded it first time so I deleted it back then.

What POOLPICKER doesnt take into consideration is actual hashrate vs pool accepted hashrate. In my case with Cleverminig there is a big difference.

Now, I did a short two day comparison with CoinSolver and CleverMining.

It appears during these two days that CoinSolver did beat out Clever.

Two payouts from Clever: 0.01036633 BTC and 0.01075317 BTC for my 2Mh/s

One payout from CoinSolver for two day(Exchange issue): 0.022693226 BTC or 0.011346613 BTC for 2 days.

After that, I only had one payout from CS be near CM, which was 0.0104 and that being my lowest payout from CS.

Not a lot of time or data, but preliminary results. CoinSolver is only getting better.

I wouldn't attribute the drop in scrypt profitability entirely to a boost in scrypt mining power.  Performance of all exchanges were impacted by the gox fiasco.  That hasn't fully worked out and from what I read it is possible there is another exchange that may also have issues (crypcy?).  Hopefully it all works out.  But another issue is a possible alt coin bubble to burst.  Doge made a lot of people rich.. but at what cost?  That energy will also disperse.  So, there are likely other bubbles to burst and growing pains to endure as digital currency evolves.

Ive had 1MH pointed at Coinshift for 3 days now. The pool is stable, rejects are very low. Results are less than I was hoping, around .006 per MH. I love the concept though, and the results are not so bad that I'd leave. I'm only getting slightly better results at Clevermining.
