Is it bad of me to say that I find most of these famous actors that everybody loves generic or actually not very good at what they do and always try to put this deep and meaningful spin on everything they do for the sake of impressing people?

Life is really stranger than fiction and while actors do their best to project everyday madness to the best of their personal experience, many just need to quit.

I know the reply is a bit late, but they're doing a shitty job of it and don't seem very convincing, plus I thought an actors job was to 'act', you know, act out there role rather than be a role model like the majority of them are trying to be now?  On the bright side I think I know now why I like older movies/t.v shows and anime so much now. |

these people are not really actresses, they are stars or starlets
sometimes you get an actress in a movie, maybe Helen Mirren or idk, not that many.
look at keanu, horrible actor mostly, great movie star

On the bright side I think I know now why I like older movies/t.v shows and anime so much now. There are far worse actors than Natalie Portman about. Actors who essentially just play themselves in movies annoy me, but that's why I have greater appreciation of actors who tend to completely transform themselves with each role. |
