I want to say if Depends on the type of coins you have in savings. I believe that in 5 years, most altcoin will disappear from the face of the earth. Only the most innovative and promising coins will remain, which will stand out from the rest, and also very popular coins like Ethereum, Litecoin, NEO, Ripple etc. will most likely last forever.

I think that coins with no purpose will die out eventually if exchanges were regulated so that prices couldn't be manipulated when that will happen, it's hard to say. Yes of course nor only last for 5 year but many more years, especially to those big and has name altcoin like Ethereum and some altcoin that have potential, but to those not known altcoin i think it wont last because few people are know it. And to those altcoin that become known right now and have potential then surely it will become successful, and tot those successful altcoin it will become much successful and possible have higher value.

Yes I think so. There are thousands of alts that was planning to operate in the next 5 years and there are upcoming coins who were trying to do the same. Also, if you check the demand, it is increasing every year. The number of investors increase every year as well. I am not sure about the amount they were investing but I am basing my conclusion base on alts popularity and demand.

i would say just think about Altcoin as same as normal projects, some of them will last for years and some will die even be that stipulated time.
