So I think it's gonna be like this, because the shares for the 1st one are already calculated/given:



2.72  / (TOTAL BTC - 1ST IPO BTC)

Because the value of 1st IPO was 14.13 BTC and it's right:

4 bilion / 14.13 BTC = 283 milion STACK per BTC


then 2nd IPO at the moment:

2.72 bilion / (48.03 - 14.13) = 80 milion

then 8 milion per 0.1 BTC

The stage two 2.72 billion will be distributed according to the total BTC minus 14.1294 BTC of stage 1

And it's already looking not very attractive anymore.
2.72 *10^9 STACK / (48.91 BTC - 14.13 BTC) =  78,204,286 STACK per BTC

If stage 2 ended now, the stage 2 investors would get their stacks for 1.279 Satoshi per STACK.


Now,
in the remaining 12 hours
more people will pour more money into that pot,
and that price will get much worse, I guess.

Or many people ask for refunds, and the price improves again. Unlikely, though.

I asked them once and he said they are using the server time on the website which is not the correct time.

I made a spread sheet with the current investors listed, and did some calculations. If you get send 1 BTC, right now you will get  90,188,666.73 STACK. This number decreases for every new investor and BTC included.

However at this point, you ROI even if you sell at 2 satoshis. It can still accommodate up to 26+ BTC worth of investors at the 2 satoshi trading level.

Here's hoping it will go up more than that, and investors don't just dump. (You can't dump anyway since you only get 10% per day, so you wait 10 days to get your 100% investment.)

In the mean time, I set up accounts on several pools, and put them in my cgminer.conf, so the top 3 priority pools are STACK pools, and everything below is whatever coin is being mined, and at the bottom are all the profit switching pools, just in case.

However at this point, you ROI even if you sell at 2 satoshis.

But where do you get the 2 Satoshi from? Is it fictional?

There are a couple of coins which are trading for much less than 1 Satoshi per coin.


And a miner ... at difficulty 5.0 ...
could dump the coin for 0.5 Satoshi,
and still make a happy 0.02 BTC per Megahash/s per day,
and that's almost twice as much as middlecoin.

What stops miners from dumping the coin for a price that is below the IPO stage 2 price?

Knowing there are a hundred coin owners who didn't really invest anything but a few bitcoins - No time, no hardware, no competence or knowledge, no effort. Just their money. A bit of risk.

What stops an IPO stage 1 participant from dumping when he is at 142% ROI?  
The dump could be a real rush.
For the stage 1 people - and remember they can flood the market with 4,000,000,000 cheap coins - that 142% price is at 0.5 Satoshi per Stack.

The block reward is gigantic.



It's an interesting game to predict a price of a coin which hasn't even been born yet.

yeah i reckon that 1st stage investors will gain 5x more stack than 2nd stage investors with the same amount of btc. sucks though but thats life early bird always catches the worm can't bend the rules. I wished I invested earlier.

studying duckduckcoin when investing into stackcoin might make sense.

The coin is only 11 days old, but already deserted.

mainduck (the "Stack-Coin" of the duckduckcoin thread) has not posted for three days, not in his own thread, nowhere. They took in almost 100 BTC in their IPO (but they offered much more % of their currency for it than stackcoin). Where are they?

Noone is taking care of duckduckcoin,
apart from some 65 megahash/s of miners.
When those switch off, too, the coin becomes unsafe
- but actually profitable to mine again :-)
That might turn the fate ??
At the moment mining duckduckcoin is about as profitable as coinyecoin. Very low Satoshi price, but also ridiculously low difficulty.


The BUY price of duckduckcoin right now is at 4.571
