I am grieving over what is going on, this is the world of crypto, not all friends are d friends, when he knows we have more advantages than him surely there will be jealousy, therefore be very careful when using your personal data, do not give a private key you or give it to others, keep it well and if in a state of necessity, you must certainly choose the right friend and believe, hope this is your last experience when you are harmed by other parties.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

You didnot mention that how did you lose your coin. If you mention that than it will be better for us to explain you why it has happened. Other wise we cannot give you the solution.

It's probably you've dropped somewhere else your btc private key. That's why Cheesy. I believe that you can't lose something out of nothing. You probably just careless on that sorry.
Most people that lose their coins lose them because they were careless, there are people that give up their private key, there are some that when setting up a node they let someone else to do it for them and they lose their coins to the other guy, people click in links coming from unknown people and get a spyware that gives all the information to a hacker, this is why we must be very careful since there are hundreds of ways to lose your coins.

Observance of elementary security conditions when storing passwords and accessing your wallet is perhaps the most important thing when working with crypto-currencies. Always observe basic security conditions and with your assets everything will be fine.

My experience is that when I joined the crypto space newly and wanted to invest in an ICO, I didn't know how to go about it, I asked a question in the group, someone private chat me using the admin name and picture, long story short, I send 1 ETH to the eth he provided to me, only for me to notice it was a scam few days later.

My reason: Don't jump into cryptos as a newbie without learning much about cryptos.

I have lost Hugh amount of bitcoin, and I believe some person's here too have gone through same. Can we please share our experience and lessons.

My story :My wallet was hacked, by God knows who. That was 2017 may. I logged in to my blockchain wallet to notice that 0.9  btc I have been accumulating Since 2016 has been taken. Leaving less than $5 worth of bitcoin for me.

My lesson :  don't trust anyone with your crypto, laptop or password. Because I believe someone close to me did that.

That's horrible. That's why I don't even trust my family members with my computer, because you just never know. Just because they're family doesn't mean they are angels, especially when it comes to money manners. Criminals have family too. Hopefully you bought back before the big boom.

I sold one crypto to buy another, and right after the coin that I sold mooned. Determined not to make such a mistake, I held the coin that I sold with, just hoping and praying that it will make up the difference, but it went on to lose it's value like 10x.

Lesson learned, I was dumb.

I was fortunate not to make that kind of mistake but sadly many people do becaus ethey sell btc in order to buy some coin and that coin dips at the same time when BTC rises and you have a double loss. I try not to sell my BTC, just buy more from time to time. It'll worth very much in the future.

We really need to be careful with our private key as well. A friend lost a huge amount of money as well, his wallet got hacked and it led to a great loss. I will suggest that we are very protective of our private key. And also I think there is a way one can secure his wallet from being hacked using a hardware but I can't really recall now

It is a pity to hear it, now there are many stories from people who lost their bitcoins because of hackers. Do not suspect people next to you, it's best to check your computer for viruses

As for any financial investments, be it ordinary money or a crypto currency, all investments must be protected. And anyone can not be trusted or show keys or wallets categorically.

Because he didn't know what's going on with his wallet, so he can't mention it.
To OP: Have you ever thought of getting a keylogger, or having mistakenly clicked on a phishing link. Where do you store the private key? Because you suspect the people around you, I think you store it on your computer without password. That's mistake. Hope you will be more careful.

If you keep your BTC in blockchain, you may have encountered the special characters used to access the wallet. And if you say you've been attacked without revealing specific characters, then I do not know why your BTC is lost.

According to my experience, one can lost their coins only when some other person like hacker hack their accounts. In my experience if you have no knowledge about the trading then do not invest. Always try to save your keys and passwords as a hard copy in lockers and do not save it on the PC.

Oh, such stories I think is not less than a million, every day someone becomes a victim of robbery in the crypto-currency world. I also had this situation, and it happened in November or December 2017. Then I stole$ 2,000 worth of coins. When I went into my wallet and saw the transfer transactions and zeros on the account, I was just paralyzed a few minutes from what I saw. It was very sad and sad, because the money from the sky I did not fall and I was sorry to lose them. But then I began to study the security of their wallets and came to the conclusion that it is safer to have in the Arsenal of "cold wallet". In fact, a very convenient topic. the password can only be entered manually, it is not connected to a computer or laptop. However, if you have assumptions, that you robbed your familiar, then recommend you at all on the future go about how, how many and what you invested and that you have such a web wallet. Because people are different and do not always have all good intentions, so it is better to keep quiet about their money transactions.

It's a pity. But don't give up. Crypto will give you a chance to recover your deposit if you know how.
