Is there an API for devs to add announcements?

For instance, a website is updated with new info or files for download.  Is there an API available for posting this info to announce the update?

Are you meaning a script for automated posting in the forum in other words a spambot?

Or

You are asking if the forum have any API so that you can integrate it with other website? On the other website if you make any changes then it will be automatically posted in the forum? Like we do in twitter and Facebook?

Anyway... I have not got your message very clear however this may do something for you...
