it is funny that today is mid august and BTC is still dropping below 6000$, strugling with 6000$ without any escapes and the market is dumpping altcoins stronger everyday, so it is hard to think this market can have the chance to rise to 50000$ in this year. i think even if BTC's ETF is approved it wont be easy to rise in just a short time but may be a very long time.

Not possible, I guess. What happened to the price of Bitcoin last year will never happen this year. Perhaps you're not aware of the news that a study conducted by University of Texas professor suggests Tether (USDT) has been used to manipulate bitcoin's price last year. And the US Justice Department is said to be conducting a criminal probe into the said report. There is so much FUD, bans and regulation attempts that BTC and others will NEVER recover to the highs of 2017. The good days are firmly behind us and it's all downhill from here. Why HODL if you're going to lose another 5-10% tomorrow? ETH is in freefall due to its recently announced serious security issues that cannot be fixed. ETH will die within a month along with everything else run on that slow, unreliable ETH blockchain.

I don't agree with your point of view. I think that ETF is just a gimmick. It is not really coming. Of course, when the bull market comes, it can be said that the ETF has passed. It's really very hard to predict how much exactly will bitcoin cost at the end of this year. But base on history, bitcoin usually pumps during the last quarter of the year. With the current application of Bitcoin ETF, once this application  will be approved, then there is a big possibility that bitcoin price will increase to a dramatic level. Lets hope for the best. No one surely can say it.because its unpredictable and there is no guaranty also. So how you are sure about it!! but I think after this year or when ETF would accept Bitcoin, We may get a good price of Bitcoin. A lot of peoples waiting for this news.

It's been at the $6,000 mark a few times so far and has been supported well so hopefully it will continue to remain above the $5,000-6,000 range until further positive developments help add more value

Well, $4-5k sounds good, but it's really hard for bitcoin price to reach the $5000 mark at the end of 2018. According to this site, Bitcoin Price Prediction For 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 And 2022, In the beginning, the price will open at 4227 Dollars, the maximum price is $4227, and the minimum price is $3302. The average for the month is $3827. Bitcoin price forecast at the end of the month of the December is $3551, change for December -16.0%.

There will be growth and I am not so sure that the growth will be so big to take the price high enough to cross the $50000 value in the market. Not possible in the near future. We are still in the same situation where we were two months ago and the market is red.

The fall has been ruling the market for long. Some people are still so optimistic about the future value of Bitcoin and the investments are still high because of the down price. Hopefully we would be having a great market in future.

Yes that's right. That's not being skeptic but we need to assess as well the possible negative result that ETF can bring to us. I'm pointing out that its possible that ETF will be positive but its also possible that it will be rejected.

Last year it was rejected but I'm also putting some confidence whether its good or bad decision, bitcoin will remain the same as usual.
