Theoretically it is possible if we compare to 2017. But reality will not happen because things are so unfamiliar to crypto and we can not have a strong growth as in previous years.

The ETF has rejected the BTC two or three times before, but now we are still putting hope on the September ETF's re-judgement of the BTC. I don't think this is sensible, because this time there is a high probability that the ETF will still reject the BTC. The reason is unchanged.

I'm sure that ETF will not affect to the BTC price. Too many expectations. I think Bakkt project has more chances to influence the BTC price and its growth. Today's main problem for cryptocurrencies is mass adoption as you can see the different articles. And Bakkt, in this case, is on the closer position to adoption than any ETF's. With mass application crypto will get chance to be more famous and usable. Not speculation only as now

ETF will affect the price of Bitcoin but not so greatly. I do not think that BTC can jump so high. It will not reach 50 thousand this year, and it might not hit this goal even in 2019.

Big names in crypto predict that bitcoin will go $50k end of this year and they were 50% correct because anything can happen of crypto right? but for me, if bitcoin ETF will be approved I'm sure that ETF Will Push Bitcoin price to $50,000, let's wait 60 days starting today and go back to this thread in September or October and let's see

 Speculation has no limitation, therefore it should be in the highest form but with Bitcoin pump, upon the approval of the ETF I don't think it will rise to 50k because there are so many factors affecting the correction, maybe ETF is of the remedy but it will not carry to that level or even surpass the ATH record, that's what I think.

50k is way over value for Bitcoin, but hey if can really reach that mark il be happy. So it’s September and we have seen a slight improvement for Bitcoin. We still cannot consider a rebound as the market for Bitcoin alone is still on the bearish trend. Forecast before the year end doesn’t even show it wil close with it all time high.

$50,000 is too high for bitcoin to reach that this year, yes it is possible that bitcoin can go that high but i think it needs more time for it to grow that big.

We can, of course, look at the previous year, but the probability of repeating such sharp increases in the same months is very small. Even a positive ETF decision will not allow an increase of up to 50k$.

If the government of the USA will give the nod to ETF in bitcoin will pour a lot of money and I also believe that it will be $ 50 000 but if you do not approve it will still grow millet will need a little more time !

There are such optimistic forecasts (to put it mildly) . I'll be happy if BTC breakouts 10K$ and will stay there by the end of 2018. Regardless of what will happen with ETF of BTC.

I am still optimistic about this coin and it has the potential to recover again and start ruling the market. Even if Bitcoin did not recover till December, it will definitely recover in the next year but since it has spread around the world so much, it has a great future. Another thing is that as more and more countries accepts and recognizes Bitcoin, the rise in demand will  be sharp and the market will respond by rising values.

If the bitcoin value reaches this destination value then I would be the most happiest person in the marketplace. Really wanna see the bitcoin price at this level before this year ends. What will be next move from the ETF and SEC decision.

Year of altcoins will come but it will only occur if the year became the year of bitcoin once again. I've never seen the year has the spotlight for altcoins, you need to understand that altcoins are depending to bitcoin so if bitcoin will become weak as you've said then altcoins will drop as well.

Nobody knows for sure when will the bitcoin ETF be approved and which one first. SEC has another ETF review pending to do later this month so that could be  the one.
