I know quite a few bitcoin companies who need some marketing done for them. If you have any skills in  this area or know of an existing company doing it let me know and we might even be able to set it up ourselves!

Looking on the wiki its a barren dessert as far as marketing companies which accept btc , so there is a niche to be filled.

I'm a marketing, design, brand development, and writing consultant. Would love to help out some other companies in this area... maybe I should post on the wiki =)

One problem is that many of these startups are offering very paltry "bounty's" for the work that needs to be done. I'm happy to offer discounts off normal market prices for this work, but people still need to be prepared to pay for quality.

on the one hand i agree, but on the other it's also a matter of profits being made, people will always be loathe to give away more than they're earning without knowing the size of the market. i think you'd be better off trying to make your services as cheap as possible, to begin with at least, and grab the first to market advantage in anticipation of a bigger one!

So so true.   I have found though the people who are willing to invest Bitcoin into something as simple as a logo, succeed far more than the people who seem to outright object against marketing or press of any kind.

Then there are special cases like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43908.0 lol

This guy does good work.  He designed the logo for Bit-Pay and also helped out with btc::log.  I plan on using him for a non Bitcoin related project very soon.

Another problem is that many of them seem pretty sketchy and no-one wants an association with a company which took the money and ran on their resume.

While no-one's going to get up in arms about someone designing a logo for a company which disappears overnight, a lot of mud is going to stick to anyone who actively markets any business which later turns out to be a scam.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Do you have suggestions on what agency performs well on marketing an ICO project? It's a great help for me since we are looking for that kind of service.

Ahhm. You can review it for yourself, but yeah, you can check Crowdcreate. They have years of experience and expertise on marketing industry. Better check their website for more information.

If your looking for general web traffic i.e. targeted geoip 'hits' then that is something I could perhaps help with or advise on.

Basically, mass Traffic Exchange hits both automated (non-eyeball traffic), manual (eyeball traffic) and mass engine / ping submission (monthly), web banners etc., All methods tried and tested, legal and above board ofc.

TBH such methods of promotion can increase bounce rate initially, however web rank is increased over time and this builds up 'organic' search results.

I doubt that you will find many marketing agencies with quite as many TE credits as I have banked, running 24/7 for 10-ish years.

If your looking for mainly mobile traffic then the TE methods won't work as well.

I wouldn't consider advertising or marketing anything related to ICO's / SCAM / SPAM / Tokenization.

...

I have much work to complete for other projects at present, but yes marketing season is approaching ... so I could combine promo's perhaps.

Drop me a PM.

Social media marketing wins over PR marketing. But if you are rebranding publishing articles to diffirent platforms can help but budget would be costly, putting article in forbes.com cost a lot depending to who you talk too as well.  To promote blockchain companies, you do have specific target audiences including the people in this forum and all other related crypto communities to financial communities.  If can help you if you need such services. PM me.

Be serious, you don't market a website with traffic from traffic exchanges, that's ridiculous. Such junk traffic isn't going to give something positive

Where the alternative is to do nothing?

Not only TE's ... However, yes the type of website is relevant to positive results here of course.  Roll Eyes
