Looks he went to the trouble to run a fake group buy to build trust and then whacked a bunch of us for about 20BTC.  Not a bad take for the effort.

I wish there was something the forum would do about these.  This place is border line operating a safe haven for these crooks.

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

It's not up to anyone but the individual to do their own research and look out for themselves. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Looking at the Trust AND actually reading it as well as looking at the persons leaving Trust. Follow the bread crumbs.
It's sad when people get taken but the risk can be reduced by simple research, asking questions and not jumping on the first thing they see and eagerly sending coins.
Any time spent in the Scam section should alert anyone to the fraud games played most often.
Protect yourself at all times.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I went ahead and marked him with negative trust, but honestly what did you expect? I even advised you to not do business with him on PAGE ONE of his first group buy thread, but you went ahead anyway. No sympathy here.

Yeah that's rough but you learned a lesson.  I know I sure did.  Check out my post and experience here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=453671.0.  It is a little different but hey, getting scammed is getting scammed and it don't feel good anyway you slice it.

bitlaunder.com is a scam site.....
