CLICK ON THE ICON TO DOWNLOAD THE QT WALLET
Supported: Windows - MacOS - Debian/Ubuntu - RaspberryPi - Android

There is no need to manually add nodes or ip- addresses - all core nodes are hard coded in to the source!
After running the wallet for the first time, it should start syncing in less than a minute

Whitepaper

WHITEPAPER v1.0 (PDF)

Introduction

RPICoin is based on the Blackcoin source, the first dedicated Proof-of-Stake coin. With PoS 3.0 the security has proven itself over years of testing.
The protocol is robust and keeps nodes connected to the network. It disincentives inactive nodes. Another huge benefit is the cost-effectiveness of PoS
which is immense compared with PoW (Miners). There are reasons why Proof-of-Stake models are becoming more commonplace.
Even Ethereum is planning to move to PoS, all of which (to us) are indicators that PoS is mature and production ready!

PoW vs. PoS

PASSIVE INCOME

Compared to mining, setting up and maintaining masternodes staking PoS based
coins has a big advantage: It's easy and there is no expensive hardware needed.
It's possible to mine on ARM based devices (such as a Banana Pi or Raspberry Pi)
These devices consume much less electricity, CPU and RAM. This is because the wallets don't
require much computing power in order to receive stakes
What are the advantages of PoS coins in general? Well, a big advantage is that you get stakes while your coins
are not locked. You can partially send them anytime and anywhere you want.
Masternodes are a little bit different, because you have to lock the minimum capital needed for
running a Masternode

Specifications

RPI is a 100% PoS coin, the first 150 PoW blocks have been mined to start the staking process.

Algo Scrypt
Type PoS 3.0
Max Supply 5.999.991.337 / 6 Billion RPI

Whitepaper

Our whitepaper is now available!

The full Whitepaper outlining the direction and vision for the future of RPICoin is now available.
A lot of hard work has gone into the Whitepaper already and as you know defining the direction we want the coin to take is a task we take very serious.
Since we last wrote about this there have been new interesting developments -which will be addressed in the Whitepaper- that will prove RPICoin to be a
powerful use case, an advanced protocol and adds further security to the network.

Why RPICoin has a bright future ahead:

* Simple wallet installation and rapid sync with network;
* Fast transaction speed (I've already tested a lot!);
* Passive-income by staking coins (just open your wallet and do nothing else to start gain money... very easy for newbie investors and an alternative for others);
* More energy efficient than POW based currencies: soon it will be the key for the evolution of the crypto world;
* Mobile staking: eliminates the need to keep a computer connected since the phone is already turned on all the time!
* And the lottery... awesome! Everything I like in the same coin;

Folks, buy and stake a lot... believe me! You will not regret...

not sure if it makes sense to mine this for the 300 reward if there are people selling this on exchanges for only 4 sats...

RPICoin is a full PoS (Proof of Stake) coin and can't be mined in the usual way, you only need to leave the RPI wallet running instead of requiring expensive and energy consuming hardware.
So this switch from PoW to PoS provide the following benefits:
  • Energy savings;
  • A safer network as 51% attacks become more expensive;
  • Affordable for Users– In addition to less energy consumption, the Proof of Stake system allows more users to take part in the forging process. Where for (PoW) expensive mining- rigs / hardware is needed.

The staking reward is fixed at 300RPI each stake.
Depending on how much coins you have in your wallet (your weight vs network weight) you will receive stakes more- or less frequently.
When running the wallet 24/7 (unlocked state) the Staking rewards will earn you 45% of your total amount of coins held in your wallet over the period of a year.

Staking is a kind of a lottery as some days you will receive more stakes than usual, some days less. The more coins you have, the more you will get.
There's no predicting exactly how many stakes you will get. However, if you stake with more coins, you get more blocks and you more likely to find a reward. Someone staking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year would get more than someone staking the same amount of coins an hour a day.

   Not quite sure that only POS mining will be a good solution for the coin. And although I love this mining method, in practice it shows a very fast saturation of traders with the coin and the loss of interest in it due to the fall in demand. But in any rule exceptions are possible, at least be sure to watch your development.

I have only seen great gains so far. This is the kind of coin you should invest in if you are looking for passive income. This is also the time to get in this coin because it is still at the bottom.

Not everyone knows it yet but mining is an expensive thing to do.
Just look into how mining costs and energy consumption are for PoW coins like bitcoin.
RPICoin is in the front on providing an efficient and ecosystem friendly model.
Congrats to the team! Be smart and go green! Cool

Colleagues, Here you write. "RPICoin is based on the source of Blackcoin, the first dedicated to coins with evidence of a bet." You assume that I, as a reader of your topic and perhaps a future investor, need to know what it is? Good. Your coin is based on the source Blaxsoxin. Is it good? And what is its advantage?

I'm really enjoying this coin so far.  It's cheap and easy to get started right now.
The price is currently hovering around 6 sats which makes it the perfect buy with plenty of room to grow!
It could easily double or triple and still be a cheap buy.

Being based off of Blackcoin's POS 3.0 is a good thing, it'll keep the network going strong for quite some time.

I'll be hodling RPIcoin, enjoying the stakes, and watching it grow!

Looking forward to seeing what the RPIcoin  team comes up with.

When I tested a batch of 10000 RPI and it took 8 days to get the 300 RPI reward.

I've got a much larger stash of RPI now, and it stakes about 35-42 times a day.

Just remember to keep your wallet online or you won't receive any rewards!
