Although the purchase of world cup tickets can use bitcoin, there is no effect to bitcoin prices. At least there will be many people who will know the usefulness of bitcoin.

Does the world cup affect the price of bitcoin and altcoin in the market....?
How do you think...
I do not see the effect of hosting the World Cup against the price of crypto currency. Price changes in the crypto market today are not caused by the world cup but that is a natural thing because of demand and supply. So, I think there is no connection between the world cup and the price of crypto currency.

Before the start of World Cup, many people were predicting that the price of cryptocurrency will increase with this world cup. But unluckily, this did not happen. World Cup did not affect the price of cryptocurrency.

I thought people were saying that the world cup is a positive news for bitcoin and therefore will make price grow as people will be able to pay for match tickets or goods and services with bitcoin but I don't think that's the case. The world cup has not really have any impact on btc

perhaps in my opinion but unless if world cup used bitcoin 'cause it's a big help to promote and to convince more people to use it as a payment method and etc, and if that time happened  there will be a massive demand and supply in the market again and bitcoin value will rocketed for sure.

Well, I don’t think the FIFA World Cup affected cryptocurrency and the market price. The market was down for many days but now the market is suddenly up and it is recovering day by day. BTC price is rising up daily. I believe that the total market will recover within the end of 2018.

Yeah sure I think it does because a lot of people travel to Russia to watch the world cup and many will sell off their cryptos to raise some money, other will stay away from cryptos because of world cup, So I think it does affect it somehow.

I think this is unrelated. Spending in the world cup does not affect the cryptocurrency market. This is just speculation by some people only.

Yes, I think that affects. Many people have sold their coins and set sports bets for example. But we understand that this impact is minimal.

I think it could be. If people's interest shifts towards football and attention to the cryptocurrency will be less then the price may fall. I would not like to because of some sporting events we have seen a cheap bitcoin and altcoins. We have long deserved a strong bitcoin and expensive altcoins)

As we can see the price of the crypto currency at the beginning of the World Cup, and now it is almost approximately the same. Therefore, we can conclude that the world championship does not influence the price of cryptocurrency.

The World Cup will only affect the Cryptocurrency market once the people who bets their money on their respective team came from Bitcoin. If it is the case, then it might have a small affect. Either way, Crypto and the World Cup is not intertwined in any way. There are no connections between them, so it is mostly impossible for World Cup to affect the market.

I'm not sure it will affect, but in fact bitcoin has decreased when entering the world cup, from some recent news that the bancor in hack may be a bitcoin factor so down

Why is there always a hacking incident? This shows that the blockchain itself is a security risk, and so many hacking incidents will seriously affect the confidence of investors. Of course, I do not rule out that some exchanges may be self-stealing.

Actually I don't think that the World Cup soccer would affect significantly the prices of cryptocurrency,  but the weird thing is that after the end of World Cup the prices actually gone higher, than they were before, lol.

I don't think the price gets affected.
Not that many trade cryptocurrencies and not many events of the world cup affect something that has to do with crypto.
If eg FIFA decides to use bitcoin and blockchain technology to check if a ticket is valid or not, that could have an impact on prices...
Right, there is no effect of world cup on crypto because crypto isn't included in the world cup such as ticket reservation, and others related to the world cup. unfortunately it didn't happen. world cup management may not want to take a big risk on this. because crypto for people who like challenges and ignore any future risks

For some reason i like this question Grin

Although, i don't think the world cup affects the price of bitcoin and altcoins as there is no possible relationship or affiliation between the two subjects in question.
