I am not sure there will be altcoin that will replace Bitcoin, I think that's a very difficult thing to happen. Ethereum is an altcoin widely used as an ICO platform, Ethereum has a role for other altcoins to thrive, I believe the role of ethereum can be replaced by other altcoins, of course altcoin replacing Ethereum will have attractive features and high market capitalization.

Bitcoin is the dominating currency and still, there is huge growth for bitcoin in coming days. Still, bitcoin is king for the next 5 years because most of the coins supply is huge and this makes the price to decline.

bitcoin still a king for me and no other coins can replace the bitcoin position in the cryptocurrency. I think this will like this in the next years and bitcoin still leading the market with the expensive price unless there is a new technology that can beat blockchain technology, bitcoin will still stay in the first position and still be a king. but I realize that everything can happen in the future and we don't know what will happen in tomorrow |

Some of the guys are telling that Cardano will take the throne from Bitcoin, some other people are thinking that Ethereum will do that but we can only wait and see for it to happen, some of those could win. |

This is the truth and the faster people convince themselves of the truth the better their results will be, if people keep thinking that their favorite coin can surpass bitcoin then they are going to keep making mistakes when investing in new coins, but people like to dream big and there is no bigger dream than your favorite coin surpassing bitcoin so I think we are going to keep seeing people thinking their favorite coin can surpass bitcoin despite all the evidence of the opposite. |
