Who will be the new king

Personally, I think the BTC will remain the King, I can not think of a coin that can replace the BTC. It is difficult to have a project that has the attributes that BTC owns.

The new king hasn't been born, yet.

The new king will be the coin that is stable, fast, uses almost no energy, is widely accepted and easy to use.

Just like fiat, only more transparant.

I don't know such a coin, yet. If there is one, please tell me. So, I can sell my house and put all the money I have in that coin.

Bitcoin always be the king of cryptocurrency, many altcoin have listed at exchange market but only bitcoin could and become on higher price because bitcoin is the main and altcoin is part of bitcoin, never happen when altcoin have higher price than bitcoin.

In my opinion, I rate BTC higher than other currencies. It always gives people stable employment opportunities, long-term challenges and long-term investment. i agree that btc and ethereum are the mainstream currency but nothing is set in stone about it but bitcoin is so wide spread and almost to big to fail , but indeed things will change in future

Nothing going to be replaced for bitcoin near future nor far! because BTC is the father/the base of all cryptocurrency with huge popularity. In this bad weather bitcoin still dominating the crypto market and people still, have faith over it. So there is on one but BTC will be the next king.

At the moment, it's all just as you say, but in the future we can not be sure that Bitcoin is capable of dominating the market as it is today. Because I believe everything is possible

It is pretty hard to answer this question. Because I think that ETH, BCH or LTC deserve the right to be on the top. But on the other hand, Bitcoin was the most stable and trusted coin during the whole 2018. Its difficult.

even at this bear market which caused all alts to suffer, btc remained over %50 at dominance on whole market. this is enough proof that bitcoin will always remain the king. unless core developers decide to do something crazy which create fud, but i don't think so. i expect btc dominance will rise at 2019.

BTC is the most popular cryptos as it's the first crypto that ever made and the most used crypto until now. It's hard to replace something that has already known by most people. Moreover, BTC has proven to be sustainable. ETH is also hard to be replaced. The biggest advantages of Ethereum is it's easy to be adopted as it has standard protocol which is already known by the community. That's why a lot of ICO project prefer ethereum platform than the others.
