in my opinion bitcoin remains the king of cryptocurrency and is difficult to replace, but if there is a position closest to the king, ethereum and ripple will be in that position.

This can happen but only when the crypt is firmly in our lives and we can use it as Fiat money.
People will start using cryptocurrency on the idea of their creators,and not only for speculative purposes...maybe then there will be the bitcoin 2.0

I heard it many times that Ethereum will become a leader of cryptocurrency market. But for me it doesn't seem for sure. There are many questions are open and unclear for me. However Ethereum has great potential and it is main crypto right now.

Bitcoin can be replaced from the first position, that is something that might happen. Today many coins are starting to crawl up like Ripple who replaced Ethereum in second place, the question is when did that happen? maybe no one can answer with certainty. Basically the altcoin price follows the current Bitcoin price, when Bitcoin rise, it is likely that the altcoin will rise, and if the price of Bitcoin decline, the altcoin price will fall. Judging from the market share of Bitcoin which still dominates around 53%, Bitcoin will remain king at least for the next decade. |

I have not see any other coin to take the lead as market is wide open to btc and ETH as a pair coin with the very high share in marketcap which will be hard to beat just any how in my opinion.

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies which are really strong and have great potential, but I don't think anyone of those can replace ether BTC and ETH as 1st and 2nd currencies. Let it be XRP, MGO, Tron, Dash whatever it does not depend on the projects' strength, unfortunately. Maybe I'm mistaken so the time will show us.  |

it seems like that won't be possible, bitcoin will still be king and there won't be any other new kings. indeed ethereum is very good, but now ethereum has decreased very far even its position has been taken by XRP..
