For the year 2019, bitcoin and ethereum will still be the winners of cryptocurrency due to the upcoming events that might trigger price surge to both of them. Ethereum has Constantinople while bitcoin has ETF, expected to be launced and approved by first quarter of 2019.

Actually, I have thought that Ethereum would pass the bitcoin and would be new king but i don't think like that yet because a lot of other coins are better that ethereum in technology field so why will ethereum be king ?
Neither Ethereum not any other alt from the existing ones can do it even in 10 years. Bitcoin will have the leading position always. However, I can guess that some great cryptocurrency, better than BTC can appear |

I do not recognize any other king except Bitcoin. I think this coin is the most important and reliable.
If bitcoin disappears, the crypto market is unlikely to exist in the form of what it is now. |

If bitcoin will not take first place in the cryptocurrency market, it is unknown what will happen at all. It is logical to assume that the first place will take Ethereum or Ripple. |

No one can change and replace bitcoin, because bitcoin is the future of cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin will stay the King for many years, but later, the new, almost perfect cryptocurrency can replace it. I guess, none of the existing now altcoins can ever do it. They will be always following their leader. I think it shouldn't be that far, there are no prerequisites. It is better to think how to make money in this market. |

BTC and ETH have been tested in the market for many years before they can get the status today. A lot of altcoins are born every day, but most of them are dead. Very many coins exist for a long time, not everyone can show such growth as Bitcoin or Ethereum. It depends on the team and project development. |

It might just happen, but it takes time which is not given lightly bitcoin itself has a great power which is able to make it survive in any condition. When this happens the bitcoin replaceable, the coin must surely be his successor far more excellent than bitcoin.
