Can I get my sums right on this - how much of the 3% is the IPO, and how much in BTC was the IPO (200?). I'm trying to figure out what your average 1BTC investor will get in terms of Pandas in their wallet.

2% of the 3% is for the IPO , remainder is toward services, sites, dev and various others

Am I getting this right

3% Premine = 3,000,000,000 Panda
2% of 3% for IPO = 60,000,000 Panda = 200 BTC
1 BTC = 300,000 Panda?

Nice maths!

I thought you learned maths from your philosophy teacher. Grin Grin Grin

And if that is correct then a 1 million panda block reward is worth 3 BTC?
What's the percentage of 1 million panda reward in the first 50,000 block?

2% of total coins for IPO = 2 billion = 200BTC

But someone posted that it is not 2% of total coins, but 2% of the 3% premine that is allocated for IPO...

And if 2% of the 3% premine is worth 200BTC ...then the 3% premine is valued at ...10000 BTC  Shocked

This is not true. It is somewhere between 33% and 66% of the premine that is allocated to the IPO

Ah...so the 2% of 3% actually means 2/3 of the 3% premine was allocated for IPO and only 1% (1 billion panda) of premine is still being held by Wolong?

That is the way I interpret it too.  So the IPO holders get their coins at 10 satoshi.

So the IPO will allow them to dump their premined coins at a higher price right from the start and wolong can always return the IPO. It just sounds like a more elaborate pump and dump coin

Then the premine is worth 300BTC...not really an obscene amount of money...still good money though.

Well one idea is, why don't we just fork the genesis block and invalidate the premined branch and build on a branch that is completely free of premining? If all the pools cooperate I can see us having enough network hashing power to overtake the original branch.

Pools list? I do not see a definitive one on the website, or PG1 Edit of the ANN of this coin. I would like to see who is offering this as far as pools go, so I can make a decision on if I will mine this or not. Thanks in advance. ( would prefer a pool list by the dev team and not random pool advertisements )

The closest consolidated list I could find is in the reddit pandacoin section here: http://www.reddit.com/r/thepandacoin/comments/1xswf2/pool_compilation/.

If that is the case then this will be restarted =) The purpose of the premine is to maintain price stability, eliminate market manipulation, me acting as a market regulator.

The maths behind the premine and the allocation will be out shortly within an hour, you will realise that this 3% premine is really nothing.

On top of that, look at UNO charts, Devcoins and DogeCoin, these are traces of my existence, and none of those coins promote a crash. This is how I play, this is how I'm game. No one else can sustain market stability like I do, as far as track record is proven.

Funny, you can look at any of the genuinely bad coins that have come out in the last year and see that the level and intensity of hate directed at them is insignificant in comparison to what you see here.

Listen to the haters, they know this coin is going to be great.

If it wasn't they wouldn't care.

Front page should be updated around 7pm UK time to reflect current list of pools.  At least per comments earlier in thread.
