If you need a pool, check out http://panda.scryptominers.com

We run two other successful pools with payouts every minute. No chance for your coins to be lost to non payout issues.

Please help us find our first panda block, we desperately need some hashing power thrown our way.

Promo:
The first 10 block finders will receive a 20,000 PANDA block finder bonus. If you have a large hashing rate, take advantage of this and you can make an easy bonus.

Check out the other pools in my signature to see that we are very reliable.

Did anyone experienced any hardware issues by using vertcoin miner?
I got back from city, and found my GPU's in bad shape :/

what did you mean with bad shape and witch GPU?

Well, I have 2x R9 280x;
the batch file for vertminer hanged all the time unlike cgminer, while running it with regular coins.
I didn't gave much relevance to the process hanging, didn't seem problematic much. Nor I say it is the reason for this odd behavior of one GPU now.
But, after getting measly 290kh/s per card, with "conservative" settings, I called it a day for the param changing and left it as is.
Now, after several hours (of which I was not in for last 3) I got back and found that 1 of those GPU won't budge any more. It stays at 0kh/s, fan is up, I can see that, but no action on card.
Hmmm, much sad :/ I have a bad feeling. Restart didn't help (I thought as one process left hanging or something); nor did the few adjustments I did to the params of verminer for that GPU.
I'm most affraid that it went shit, and broke Sad

Why is this a shock? Heck, THIS Panda coin is the 2nd panda coin. Why not have a 3rd?

Is this broken? all pools are stuck at 1385 block, no blocks are found anywhere for a long while now, 30 mins or more.

http://panda.poolerino.com has found block # 1386 - so no we are not stuck

Keep intensity lower and they'll be fine.

Keep intensity lower and they'll be fine.

Intensity set 13 as default on all versions of miners I use. I suppose that is reasonable enough.

What is the temperature on alive card now? And what OS are you using, windows or linux?
There is a bug report in vertminer git that might be related to your issue:
https://github.com/Bufius/vertminer-gpu/issues/4
Looks like vertminer doesn't regulate GPU fan speed correctly in some cases

I see some complains about broken cards in VERT coin thread. Looks really strange. My rig with 2x 7950 seems to work ok though. At least temp is below 70 C.

mining vertcoin responds better with more system RAM, if you have 4GB, it runs for awhile, then get BSOD, could be need to free up more RAM or just add more.

On Chaospool home page :

We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

I really hope these guys are playing fair. First time the coin i got lucky with, I don't want to be burned by scammers with a coin presented as being "fair".

I was able to receive my payout and edit my account information. However, it took me a while to have my token reset and receive a email to edit. Did end up paying a 5% donation for the first hour of mining, but after hearing people stories about forked pools I'm glad I at least I got my payout.
