Hey guys i'm trying to use vertminer-0.5.3 but it won't even start. What am i doing wrong?
Gpus are 2x Sapphire 280X

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3361 -u myusername.1 -p mypassword -d 0 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 11200 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-75 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 72 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-powertune -20 --no-submit-stale

I also tried using the Vertcoin-CGMinerAleksNR3 but my second gpu gets very low hashrates for no obvious reason. Working fine on other versions of cgminer, sgminer etc.

Pandacoin #1 was just another altcoin.

Pandacoin #2 was the brainchild of wolong - the asian market manipulator who is credited with manipulating dogecoin, uno and others. This coin is modified vertcoin so it needs a custom miner to run. It has widespread developer support and lots of attention due to the attachment of wolong who stands to become a multimillionaire if the coin is successful.

Pandacoin #3 is an attack by 4chan users to get back at wolong for his market manipultion techniques and perhaps taking more credit for dogecoin than he should. The plan is to confuse users over what is the real pandacoin.

There are rumors that 4chan will launch Pandacoin #4,5,6 and 7 over the next week to further muddy the water.

In fact a lot of the trolling in this thread is due to 4chan trying to create problems.

Personally I am mining Pandacoin #2 as wolong will get rich if it is succesful. #1 is too generic and #3 is well - 4chan is not trying to create a great coin, they are just trying to derail #2.

Never seen so much drama. Who in their right minds would do this crap, in the long run who will take any of the pandas seriously.  This is not good for crypto, nobody wants to be associated or in the middle of a dispute.  Someone needs to come down and stop the sabotaging for any of the pandas to work. You guys are selfish pigs hoarding on the rest to try to make a quick buck. So imagine they make another bitcoin, litecoin etc what is going on, this is scary. It's all about the $$$$$$

Oh cmon, it wasnt bad at all as long as you have mined vertcoin before. Just had to modify the bat file and getting rolling 2-3 minute after launch... not like maxcoin where it was a complete shit show for 12+ hours

"Worst launch ever" Really??? Apparently he missed the MAX launch.  

Besides the fork (which really sucked, I had 1.4mil right off the bat and lost it), I think the launch has gone pretty smooth.  There are plenty of pools, exchange is already setup, and I'm getting a decent amount of coins.  I'm admittedly pretty new at this, but I like the coin so far.  At least it has some backers and promotion, unlike a lot of these altcoins.  Could have done without the premine, but other than that...

with scrypt-n you will be getting roughlty 50% of what you would get on scrypt. lower the intensity and the thread-concurrency.
