What would happen if Satoshi came back suddenly

Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology is already flourishing  and expanding, even without the presence of Satoshi Nakamoto. So even if he just pops up and go public, I do not think he can make a huge change in the current cryptocurrency landscape. I do not think that Satoshi Nakamoto is just one individual so something like that happening is almost impossible according to my understanding. The point to take home is that, Satoshi (or the group by that name) gave the world a game-changing concept and we are currently capitalizing on that, rest is history, even if Satoshi goes public now, he would be old story.

As far as I know, Satoshi Nakamoto is just a name, not a human. Many articles say Satoshi Nakamoto is an organization and many people are involved in creating Bitcoin

" Many article says" does not make it a fact, I did go threw Satoshi posts early in this forum and I am 100% believe that Satoshi is a person and not an organization, but this is my own opinion and I  can not force it on anyone .

Imagine one day, we see Satoshi connect to the forum and open a topic to say Hello I'm back.

I believe that Satoshi is either dead OR he is already with us but under fake identity . So the statement of him coming back can not be correct as he is either never left ( have fake identity) or already gone ( dead  ) can not comeback anymore .

Anyway if ever that happened I think it might have negative impact on BTC price since there will be a chance that Satoshi might sell his holdings 1 million BTC is more than enough to make huge impact on market if got dumped .

The anonymously of Satashi is probably 100 times better for BTC than his appearance and he knows it  . Because I believe he is here with us under different identity .

He isn't perfect, and any flaw will be pinpointed by the media, and undoubtedly used for malicious purposes.

For example, if we ever found out the identity of Satoshi, and he was linked to crime we would likely never hear the end of it in the news, and there would be extra leverage for countries to ban/regulate it.

Yes, satoshi nakamoto make himself anonymuous to protect himself from different violation that he didnt follow. And I dont think he would going to spill who he really is. I believe satoshi was happy of what he did and if he was seeing whats happening his invention. He might break many laws but we still it gives us so many opportunity and hope to recover from our financial problem.

It's impossible for satoshi to prove that he is actually satoshi. I totally wouldn't be surprised if the first ever block was mined by someone else. But for the sake of the question, I don't see why he should be allowed back -- the current Core developers are the best in what they do, and we certainly don't need and shouldn't want to distract them with this. I just hope that whoever holds the first 500,000 to 1,000,000 Bitcoins will unload all that BCash and totally demolish that market. I think that this simply can not be. Satoshi Nakmoto is unlikely to return, if he has not shown himself before, this he will not do in the future. I dont think so because satoshi break thousand of law about making a new currency. And I think I he will not going to expose himself to public. Exactly. Satoshi's anonymity protects both the person/s and the Bitcoin concept: any personal details about who was behind Bitcoin will be amplified or exaggerated to be used by Bitcoin's competition. So it's best for everyone that Satoshi left, and never returns

these will happen in chronological order:
1. a lot of FUD about how Satoshi would dump so a big price fall  due to panic
2. some old wounds discussions would start up again including the block size debate and all the drama with SegWit/BCash
3. more FUD thanks to #2 and more drop due to the panic induced by it.
4. eventually people would realize that bitcoin is not some shitaltcoin that is controlled by one person who snaps his finger and the coin changes, it is a proper decentralized network which is working based on consensus of the whole network not just one person.
5. after the whales and knowledgeable people bought cheap bitcoins things go back to normal and price rises back up again.

result? only a period of drama which slows everything down and postpones adoption for a couple of months.
I also believe it depends on the time of the possible "come back" in this scenario. for example if it were today then the effects will be a lot bigger than if it were in 5-10 years from now, by then people may not give a damn about it since we would have a lot more people who truly understand bitcoin not just some speculators wanting to milk it for money.

This will be really an interesting incident if he really appears someday. I am eager to see what happens then. I think he will answer the questions about bitcoin that every one wanted to him. Besides all those who has claimed themselves to be Satoshi will get exposed, I badly want him to come.
