Flip theory, the kid is the one doing all this.   Bram uses his dad's name where it might seem necessary to have an adult or some shit, except maybe not doing it as wisely as he thought.   Bitcoinica came from someone just 17, right?

I'm just shooting out quick thoughts, looking at more of this 'evidence' now. ..  I mean, this is one of the few exchanges I use, I guess I should be more on top of this one lol

Worth noting some of Trade-BTC's amusing past here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=26783.msg336588, I forget if it was under a different user name.

Makes sense.

Dad,

Let me know when any mail comes to your office in my name. I let you know in advance when I have some coming for I will get an email first.

Sincerely, Your Son, Bram

I see the mytheoryontrade-btc.com domain is still available lol

I wish all scam threads had a cheat sheet image to go to for information.

The only thing obviously wrong in your picture is that it isn't P.O. box.
It is a legitimate address of an office suite that was/is vacant for over 90 days:

10100 Santa Monica Blvd
Ste 1300
Los Angeles Ca 90067-4114

Last known tennants:

80s Baby Entertainment Inc
Orbed Productions Inc
Vacant

This building is about 1/4-1/3 vacant/no-delivery and has always been a high turnover location.

Please comment, critique, criticize or ridicule BIP 2112: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54382.0

Let me go ahead and add fear to this thread by saying I just tried to Withdraw my big 2.2 btc amount, and got a page that says

Status
Insufficent funds.

I went down to 2.1.  Then for no real reason, 2.0.   I seem to have insufficient funds to send funds.

Benefit of the doubt, last issue I had with this site, things seemed to have resolved themselves after a day or something.    I guess my $8 is stuck with Trade-BTC for now.  I hope for positive things to come out of this thread and lots of misunderstandings.

Good luck guys, if there's this much of a hangup over possible information, ranging on the possible stalking range, then I do not want to be involved with Bitcoins. Matthew I mean no insult to you, but you have went and found the information on several children. I may say this is quite odd. If this is how you wish to go about your business then please go ahead. But this is something that I do not wish to involve myself with.
Thank you everyone for your support.

You put the names of those children in your "about us".  You should absolutely have assumed that people would try to find out everything they could about those associated with the venture - it's called due diligence and what people do in the business world.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

WhyTF does this community have such a hangup with finding out information about exchange owners? I don't get it! What happen to trust in this world?

BTW, Matthew, excellent job on the road map pic. Nice work. That took time.

Why do people bother making new exchanges, how are you going to convert btc users to switch from the ones they're using and gain your trust? Also,  the amount of new people to the community seems to be declining.

-Introduction, Trade-Btc.com

Hey everyone, if you haven't heard about us, we are a brand new Bitcoin exchange Trade-Btc.com. We haven't had a chance to properly introduce ourselves, so here's our introduction to the Bitcoin community.

-About us
Here at Trade-Btc.com we are a team of like minded individuals trying to make Bitcoin a viable currency, by increasing convenience, and decreasing transaction times. We want Bitcoin to succeed just as much as you do. And this exchange is our first step in a long running group of goals.

-Me, Vince Torres

I work as an IT personnel of a Los Angeles, New York and Delaware based corporate bankruptcy law firm. I first heard about Bitcoins back in May of 2011, and have been hooked ever since. After hearing about Bitcoins my first goal was to open an exchange. So me and a group of friends and colleagues got together and built the exchange, with accessibility and ease in mind.

-Bram Kornfeld

Bram is an accountant at a large bank here in Los Angeles. He is our exchanges main legal personnel, and makes sure the exchange complies with all regulations. He is also working on expansion into different currencies and languages, so stay tuned for more information.

-Henry McDaniel

Henry is the main coder for the site and is based out of Saratoga, Florida. He implemented the exchange, and now makes sure all features work correctly. As of now he is working on the Trading API, which should be ready within the next several weeks.

-Alex Nora

Alex is one of the primary investors in the exchange, and remains very close in all of it's dealings. Without him the exchange would have not come into existence. And is a very crucial member of our team.

- Contact us

Email: Admin@Trade-Btc.com
Facebook: Trade-Btc.com
Twitter: @TradeBtcLLC

-Our Office
We have a small office rented out of the thirteenth floor to base our exchange out of. If you ever need to send us any mail, for any reason. Please include my name (Vince Torres). And if possible send me an email at Admin@Trade-btc.com, so I know it's on the way.

10100 Santa Monica Blvd 13th floor
Los Angeles, CA
90067-4114 STE 1300

Thanks, From Vince and the Trade-Btc.com team.

I felt a need to C&P the above in case it hasn't been quoted before or it gets edited.

Ironic how I only researched one name at random. I've yet to even start on the other "Team" members.

THE COMMUNITY

Who taught you that word and where did you get a link to these forums?

I would go with the opposite, the community has grown so large, that there are now many communities https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=44712.0

Trade-BTC pm'd me about an hour ago, one of my issues in this thread is going to possibly be resolved, will edit my other posts if so to reflect this.   Has nothing to do with the background check going on, but he is definitely trying to right this issue at the least.

Also, about the age thing, I can see one not wanting to tout an age depending on how serious your business is going to be, I think zhoutong is definitely the exception, not the rule, but I wouldn't mind if it became a trend just to shake shit up in the Bitcoin world as far as legal and government issues are concerned.   Would any illegal activity default on the parents or is there a cool juvi hall for kids who cheated on their taxes.

Is this the shortest-lived exchange in the history of Bitcoin?

Do I get a badge for quickest exchange crasher?

I get half that badge, Matt.

On a side note, the following link has nothing to do with Bitcoin or this thread, but proves an interesting quick read--please enjoy: http://www.notablebiographies.com/Ma-Mo/McDaniel-Hattie.html
