i bought Ripple in jan 2018 at 2.5$ but still i am holding it in loss. is there any chance to pump again. i bought this ripple when i entered in crypto. it makes me worried when i see the portfolio.

Moreover the ripple has also lost their reputation due to recent report and security issue. I do not think that price of ripple will rise but there can be opposite of this also.

Base on the market graph and statistics, all the coins are on progressing upward and rising once again from being crashed and one of that altcoins is the ripples. For now, just HOLD it until the market recovers from the crash. Personally, I don't like that coin but if you're about to sell now are you ready for the loss that you'll get? do you accept defeat with your first investment in crypto and learn from it? That's a good way of countering your emotion if you're in loss and that is by thinking that it can be a lesson for you of not investing during all time high's. But if that doesn't matter to you and you just want to make your first crypto investment with Ripple profitable, hold and wait until it reaches again that price.

Since you're mostly concern about the Dollar price of Ripple, it will go back to that price and even beyond.
However I do not see Ripple gaining much against Bitcoin as it did before.

The price 2.5$ was manipulated by the korean market, people can't place an order under that price on january this year.
And now it's hard to pump again because XRP is centralized coin

There is a lot of possibility the ripple coin can be considered as a security token. It has not utility or even ability to give the more value to the token holders. Only actual payment system and no more.
