No Bull Run in 2018?

If that will happen I think there will be another moment of dip and by that time is much painful than from what happened from the past. It can be because of the disappointment from a lost expectation. We can expect this thing happening in the first  month of 2019. But still I have a big doubt that bull run will not come in this year. In not less than 3 Months from now i can see a bull run in the market as speculated from other quarters. Too early to tell yet because we are just midway through the last 6 months of this year. I think there is enough time left for bitcoin and the cryptomarkets to leave behind the bearish trend. As what is on the history, the market is always healthy bound going through December.

I do not think it is too early to tell, many are waiting that the same that happened in the last year happens again in which the first six months of the previous year were slow as well only to accelerate at the end, but that is not going to repeat especially in the next year, this year is a year of accumulating and taking a position in the coins you think have the most potential, if you do maybe you could get profits in the next year or the year after.

Everyone is expecting for a bull run after a bear market but it seems like we are still in a sideways of the market trend. Hopefully whales will pump this market again at no specific time for sure hodlers can wait for that moment and it will be high that no one expect for it.

I think we may see a nice little bull run towards the end of the year. I certainly think that $20k is very much possible again. If not even more than that. Just look at how last year went.. Was slow and then all of a sudden just took off. Was almost crazy how fast it happened.

Agree! It will be a big surprise for this year, just what happened last year, specially when the last quarter of the year. Bitcoin started to pump when the last quarter of the year started, I  can't wait the last quarter of this year. I started to accumulate bitcoin now.

Agree! It will be a big surprise for this year, just what happened last year, specially when the last quarter of the year. Bitcoin started to pump when the last quarter of the year started, I  can't wait the last quarter of this year. I started to accumulate bitcoin now.

If bitcoin pumps again this fall, it could mean both good and bad. Good for people to believe that Bitcoin can still reach new highs, bad because it will encourage new market players to join without understanding the underlying protocol first.

I am just wondering what will happen to the cryptocurrency market if there will be no bull run that can happen before the end of this year as what many have been expecting? Can we then anticipate a much lower market volume or will there be instead a big rebound like a market revenge? Or should we start watering down our expectations as soon as possible?  I have been thinking of the possible scenarios because I can sense that many cryptocurrency players and holders are really looking forward for a bull run or a bullish market soon...what do you think?

Maybe the bull will not run as fast as the way it goes last year because of some factors affecting the eagerness of the investors to invest but I know that crypto will still manage to lift up the situation, not for the 20k last year but I guess it is about 15k which is better for now.

It seems that the bull is running out energy this year, there are many obstacles that lead the bull to slow down, maybe we need to settle down and focus the strategy to survive the current situation, but for me, the best thing to overcome the bear period is just by waiting until the bull will recharge its energy and start running again.

I think 2017 was a big outlier in terms of crypto market performance. Previously, you would see crypto essentially be in a bear market for 2-3 years before seeing a huge pump. The pumps in 2017 were unrealistic in the long term.

That being said, we may be in a much longer bear market than we anticipated.

But its similar also what happen last December of 2013 BTC price 1,150usd down to 300 usd level of December 2014. But i still hoping hoping a bull run this last quarter of this year.
