No Bull Run in 2018?

I think it is too early for us to say whether there will be a bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market. In late Summer or Autumn, everyone is waiting for the decision of many countries on the legalization of bitcoin in their countries. Perhaps these news will be strong catalysts in the growth of bitcoin and the entire market. When the state can keep up with the times and organize favorable conditions for crypto-business, large volumes of money will go to the country.

Well we have been struggling for the last 6 months and it may not last for another 6. But I'm still keeping tabs on what's happening on the current an so I say that even though this bearish sentiments seems to go on forever, we only needed one catalyst that will blow open this field again. Maybe news of legalisation of acceptance of new country will provide that needed boost. So we need to be calm and continue to do our thing until such time arrived that will reverse this current sentiments.

I think that the market will not go up in 2018. Most likely we will see growth not earlier than the end of 2019. I am very sad to realize this.

I think that at the end of this year coins will get bigger price than now so investing in coins now could bring some profits even in 2018, time will show us if i was right.

in some totalitarian countries, the government thinks about something else, not about making money work for the people. Thus, if it is a question of full legalization of the crypto currency, it will probably have bad consequences for users of crypto currency.

Even if the crypto currency market does not show active growth in 2018, it will definitely grow in 2019 or 2020. Therefore, if you are a long-term investor, you will not give up crypto currency unless you see growth in 2018.

I think that we should not lose hope that the market will begin to recover this year. It is likely that the growth will begin in the late autumn of 2018 and will continue throughout 2019. But the market is very unpredictable, therefore we should be ready for any situation.

I think that it will finally come but we need to wait until the end of December, or the beggining of January until we can see another bullrun. It might be a long time to wait, but i am more than sure in that this time will come and we all are going to be happy about this

I think this is a big NO NO, since this will be a year for cryptos as per my observation. Maybe we can say the market falls from behind from a very big All time hight but if you will be checking it's position chart wise. It's still in a good position compare to the previous years. There will be redemption this year for sure and let's be positive about it.

I am not such a pessimist. I still believe that we will see how the altcoins and Bitcoins are gaining a lot this year. Yes, it might not happen in summer or even in autumn. I suppose it can be in December.

This is a huge problem, people have unrealistic expectations about the market, they want that the market grows every year, month and day and that is not going to happen, no market moves like that and bitcoin is not going to be an exception and then when their expectations do not materialize they blame the market and say that bitcoin is a scam.

Bullrun this year is possible. Bitcoin ETF will approve anytime at this moment on america. When it's approve the factors will happen is uptrend of the value of coins. As of now 11% increase the value of Bitcoin because of the news. I hope this will happen.

Well a bull run may not happen but a good recovery should. It can't all be a hard bear trend thoughout the year. But if people are expecting another all time high, that's probably where disappointments will start coming in.

It seems to me that in 2018 there will be bull races and it seems to me that this race can break the previous price records. the last few
days have given us a little hope for a market reversal. Let's see how things will develop.

I am just wondering what will happen to the cryptocurrency market if there will be no bull run that can happen before the end of this year as what many have been expecting? Can we then anticipate a much lower market volume or will there be instead a big rebound like a market revenge? Or should we start watering down our expectations as soon as possible?  I have been thinking of the possible scenarios because I can sense that many cryptocurrency players and holders are really looking forward for a bull run or a bullish market soon...what do you think?

Bull run last year was caused by new investors in Crytocurrency. They are also the reason why all of a sudden the price of BTC dropped and we're not able to recover back to to $18,000 plus. I guess they are scared of losing money in Cryptos that's why they decided to go back to trading stocks and dump their coins. Usually on the 4th quarter of the year price of BTC goes up. But we don't know if this year will be an exception.

Yes, the fact that we are in a huge correction this year, I believe expecting to see a bull run again this year is totally out of it. The market would surely take its time during the downtrend and also take some possible time to even consolidate as well and all these things take time.

For altcoins however, we all know how volatile those ones are and I would not be surprised that they may actually be picking up anytime soon anyway looking at how fast they are ready to move with bitcoin slight pump.

I don't think the absencevof a bull run would have a telling effect on crypto in the long-term.
Although, I strongly believe we're might yet have a pump this year. But, if not, it would just be an opportunity for more people to join in and further boost the market.
Following recent trends, I doubt anyone would be cutting their lossess now.

Speculations surrounding the Bitcoin ETF is just over the top. Everyone's anticipating the outcome and wondering what bitcoin's fate would be after that decision is made. Although, having centralized systems interfering and determining the fate of crypto is a little ironic.

I think if there's no bull run we still steady to what price in the market and maybe it will slowly to increase the price in the market. But I think bear market will not be forever and some whales or some of us not agree if there's no bull run so I think bull run will come but slowly to get there.

All has been betting for the ETF approval, don't be hyped by that so much and what if it doesn't approved? last year it wasn't approved but the market has turned into bull still? We may or not need it as the market is completely independent and has its ways to start its bullish.

Feeling bad by reading your headline. Because I am afraid of it. 2018 can be a disappointing year. Altcoins are going to red again. This is not a good sign. Bitcoin hit 7400 USD and Everyone was saying the crypto bull run starts, but now I am really worried about it. I wish for a bullish crypto run. I need money, But I don't want to sell at the cheap price. That's why I am feeling afraid.
