Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.

Bitcoin is not a fraud but the people who used the platform to steal the money of the people are the scam and that is why we need to support the regulation so that these scam people will be prevented to continue to make some negative thoughts about Bitcoin. I just don't understand of why the other brand will be compared to Bitcoin about scam issues to think that these brands are quality assured and they did not force the people to buy their products.

Sometimes this people who have known nothing says everything and sometimes creates word they believe isn`t the truth. However, every one of us is good at making judgments but since it is easy to create out of believing certain generalization; we tend to critic things we didn`t know. Many people here in Philippines that Bitcoin is scam. This happened when there is a group offers a fake investment, that you will actually get 5% of your investment every week. After a few months, the group dissapeared. The news getting all over in the Philippines media. After that, some people here said that dont trust in bitcoin.

Why its price is high, it is because many want to own it. So why is it cheating? Many people lose money because they do not know where they are investing. And they give Bitcoin a scam when they lose money

People are doing this as a way to discredit bitcoin, it's an attempt to try to kill something that they #1 don't know about and #2 Don't want to thrive. When you're scared of something, you get to the point where you're just slinging insults for no reason. people who really believe bitcoin is a fraud or a ponzi scheme will never talk about it, they just stay away and never touch it but those who believe bitcoin is a valuable thing which they want to have more of it will always try to scare others from staying away from it so that they can buy more of it and accumulate a larger share in this limited supply currency.

Not only are the people who call Bitcoin a fraud or Ponzi clueless about Bitcoin, they are also clueless about Ponzi schemes/Pyramid schemes. It makes 0 sense to call Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme and it is the dumbest thing anyone could say about Bitcoin.

Ponzi schemes have a portfolio manager of the Ponzi and they guarantee returns to investors. Bitcoin does not guarantee any returns and there is no central operator that controls Bitcoin. The head of the Ponzi is the one that profits, but who is the head of Bitcoin? And where are the promised returns? Because of that, Bitcoin simply cannot be a Ponzi scheme.

The amount of people that I have met that think bitcoin is some kind of fraud or some kind of ponzi scheme is just alarming. Mostly when I meet people like this I do my best to educate them. You are right, the only reason that people are calling bitcoin a fraud or a ponzi scheme is because they do not understand bitcoin and how it works. With more information, they will learn how it works and know that it is not a fraud.
