Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The fact is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that they call Bitcoin a ponzi scheme doesn't change any thing about the originality of Bitcoin. Such people have little knowledge about how the Blockchain technology works, they need to be enlightened

They expected to be better off the moment they invested in but the idea of bitcoins is not as they think, hence they will tag it as a ponzi scheme or fraud.

people who call bitcoin as either fraud or ponzi scheme has no in depth understanding regarding cryptocurrency. but once they fully understand it, they will love crypto at all angles. a lot are still beginners or just starting to know bout crypto, so expect various opinions arising, good or bad perspectives. you know better if you are a crypto user for so long. so you know what crypto can do to humanity.

we buy bitcoin for a profit, but the profit model is not a fraud or ponzi scheme. and bitcoin does not have such a concept.
anyone who says that bitcoin is a fraud and ponzi scheme, then he is a victim of a conspiracy in the world of crypto. FUD will not stop to make bitcoin fall and die.
so please fix again your assumption about bitcoin.

People called bitcoin as a fraud or ponzi because they don't understand about bitcoin, they only make their own conclusions without learning the true of bitcoin, if those people want to take their time to learn they will notice that bitcoin is totally different, some of them only know bitcoin from the media, so they only know the surface of bitcoin

We cannot really control what other people say bitcoin is. We are all entitled of our own opinion, we can call bitcoin whatever we want. We should not really care. It’s not making any sense having a conversation with people who are closed minded. |

Yeah there are still people that call bitcoin a ponzi, bubble or whatever they like because they have either bought at peak and sold in panic for loss or they never got chance to ride the bitcoin train  . The one who are making good money with bitcoin trading and investment will always love this technology which gonna disrupt whole world's financial system. |

We pay for an online program Not an online program that we are really paying/buying but a cryptocurrency / digital token. For the people that keeps on calling bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme, they are connecting it to the scammers that used bitcoin as their exit scam. |

People call bitcoin fraud because when they first head about bitcoin they doesnt know anything. Lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency and they should understand really about this blockchain technology. If they truly understand this technology people cannot called this ponzi scheme.

People think that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme because the old investors earn from new investors. They are wrong. They do not have the knowledge how Bitcoin works. Bitcoin's price is based on the law of demand and supply. Bitcoin is decentralized and no one is controlling it. |

Mostly big corporate CEOs and government leaders term it as fraud or Ponzi schemes and not the normal people.This high price for bitcoin is not due to the mining cost but due to its limited supply and it being out of the reach of the bloody corrupt governments which totally doesn't care about its people's hard earned money and just levy huge taxes or just demonitise the fiat currency as in India.Bitcoin has come in such a situation as a blessing to the people which they don't want to miss it.Its the big dictators like russian president putin who term bitcoin as a pyramid scheme who don't ever want their citizens to breath the air of freedom.

Many people here in Philippines that Bitcoin is scam. This happened when there is a group offers a fake investment, that you will actually get 5% of your investment every week. After a few months, the group dissapeared. The news getting all over in the Philippines media. After that, some people here said that dont trust in bitcoin.

NO matter what happends at the end of the day Bitcoin would still be Bitcoin nothing will change exept on how do you see Bitcoin as it is. They call it a ponzi scheme or anything can may pull Bitcoin down in the eyes of new investors. Really nothing will change.

There is a term there is no price of goods, when we buy expensive goods, surely it is certain that the goods are good, classy and high enough value. Like bitcoin, if we want to gain profit, we must automatically dare to invest in it. And whose name is any stock, certainly not always good graphics, there are times when falling and sometimes wake up. The point is we have to be patient with this.

Actually that's true. They maybe a victim of greedy people with broken promises. We can not blame people for such an outlook when it comes to cryptocurrency or bitcoin, because they have been deceived by people who use bitcoin to fool people and to get money in the expense of others. That's why before investing in anything we have to be very careful and think twice before doing so. |

Media also has a mistake of making people believe that bitcoin itself is scam instead of emphasizing that the company is just using bitcoin as the funds in the scheme that's why people have a misconception that cryptocurrencies are scam because they saw in the news that the reported it is a bitcoin scam. This is the reason why we should help others who needs our help to let them realize it is not bitcoin that is illicit but it is just the people who use bitcoin and make it look bad. |

Those MacBooks and iPhone have got uses and premium products priced accordingly. BTC has not got as much real use as them but it is being used for payments and all.
