Not sure about the community.  I've been working on spreading the word but I think people aren't interested until it's on an exchange and they think they can make some BTC with it.  Dunno, this is my first attempt at building up a coin so hard to say.

That's your problem....make a file using Notepad:

C:\Users\$USER\%App Data%\Roaming\friendshipcoin\friendshipcoin.conf

You'll need to have Hidden Folders showing (Tools > Folder Options > View) & make sure you don't have an extra .txt extension on the file when you make it (open the folder, go to folder options like before, & uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types").

Here's what you should have in that file:

I agree 100% on the marketing.  I was focused last week on getting the mining pool stable, getting the forum up, etc. but now I need to get the word out.  I have also reached out to some exchanges to see about getting listed which I think would help get some more interest in the coin if people could turn it into BTC.

I'm open to suggestions in terms of marketing though so if you have some ideas please let me know.

Ok so I've reached out about 6 or 7 exchanges, been working on spreading the word on Reddit, been posting in the Alternate Cryptocurrencies board here, but I need some help from you guys.  If it's just me spamming the coin all over the internet it'll never take off.

If you want to do some give aways to your friends or have some ideas on how we can get some more people interested but need FSC to make it happen, let me know.  I have some FSC to spread around if needed, I just can't be the only one talking about the coin.
