Power setup for Antminer S9

Hi.  First of all sorry if this has been covered but I couldn’t find an answer specific to my setup.  I have a fuse Panel, that’s old fashion glass fuses not breakers.  I have a 12-2 wire to a 220v (red wire to one side and black to the other ) with 2x20 amp fuses. This is then connected to a dual 20 amp outlet.  Does anyone know how many s9i units I can connect to this setup.  Could I do 2 per plug so 4 on this one line? 2 on the top outlet and 2 on the bottom?

You want to run no more than 80% continuous capacity on each circuit. So if the circuits are 20A then no more than 16A continuous each. So 2 Antminers per. Are you saying each outlet has a separate wire run? Or are you saying 2 outlets using one run of 12-2 wire? If it's the latter then you're limited to 2 miners period. If it's one run of 12-2 wire to each outlet then 2 per or 4 total if you have 2 circuits.

Agreed.  My whole datacenter is wired based on (2) miners per 20amp 220V circuit.

Yes one 12-2 wire run from the panel to a dual outlet. So I’m limited to 2 miners per lead.  Thanks for the response, much appreciated!

Hold up, you're using 220v so both wires carry current. If you physically only have one piece of wire that is 2 conductor 12 gauge then you need to change the outlet to a single as you have a SINGLE 220v 20A circuit. Previously you had 2 110v 20A outlets

Agreed.  My whole datacenter is wired based on (2) miners per 20amp 220V circuit.

I second this, the miners that I work with are also wired with 2 S9s per 20A breaker.

I just want to make sure you understand that you will need to replace that outlet with a single outlet, you do not have 2x 220v outlets. You've got 1 220v or 2 110v

I’ve got this receptacle but what’s the difference in using this as opposed to a single outlet with a power bar with 2 miners attached?
