I just want to share the experience, last week I sold something using escrow bitify, because buyers request using the bitify escrow service. but the bad thing happens, when I give my sales to the buyer, then the buyer request a refund via escrow bitify. even the buyer threatened me to send other items from the previous agreement, if I want the buyer to release escrow. I've given all the evidence of our conversation (buyer and seller) to bitify support and even the buyer is not responding to me anymore. this happened already 1 week and my money still in escrow bitify so far. i tried to find out about escrow bitify.source: https://bitify.com/bitify-escrow-service/the point I understand here after I see it is;Bitify Escrow Service and Buyer Protectionso escrow system has no protection for the seller. Escrow Refunds:If the seller does not respond within the 72 hour time-frame to either agree or dispute the refund request, we will normally determine in favour of the buyer and action a refund.Escrow Releases:Bitify reserves the right to refuse to release funds from escrow before 30 days, and leave the decision to the buyer.

Avoid using third party escrow services which are operated by the damn bots. Looks like they have settled well with your money and don't plan to release it ever. Can you open a scam accusations against their service with the relevant proofs? That would certainly warn people who wish to use them in the future.

Do what Patatas suggests, and provide the full details of what transpired (including conversation, items/services sold, etc.) just so that you have a strong case (from the details already provided in OP, it's still not really clear how you were exactly scammed) and prove that you provided the buyer with the exact goods/services you were selling.
E-scrow protection should be for both seller and buyer, though of course buyers are the ones typically favoured as they're the ones putting up cash. But if you sold/delivered, there's no reason the escrow should be returned to buyer.

no, escrow still hold the funds, has not returned to the buyer, however this problem is almost 1 week. I will open a scam accusations after getting the final decision, I am still waiting for the decision of bitify and it's been almost a week

this happened already one week and my money still in escrow bitify so far.
Your money is still in the escrow service, so continue with the support team, and I'm sure your problem will resolve quickly. Bitify's service is managed by a support team that needs time to decide whether you are right or not. Also, if your account verified and you have much good feedback, it will enhance your case as a seller.
Remember the following 1. This site sets new standards against stolen goods so it may take some time to reply 2. I had the same problem, and the response took about 12 days

I've found that if you have adequate proof (which you do), Bitify usually rules in your favor if it really is the buyer that is at fault- Bitify's escrow is bot-operated, but the site support does work though it is a bit slow. The funds not being released to the buyer yet despite 72 hours passing is a good sign in my eyes, though. I expect they'll likely make a decision in the next day or so about the escrow, and the process likely won't take a whole month.

The thing isn't really that Bitify favours buyers or anything.
From what I've heard, as long as you have got sufficient proof in order to prove that you're in the right and the other party is trying to scam you, they should be able to release your funds from escrow. You did respond within the 72h timeframe, so there is really nothing to worry about.
However, it's definitely unprofessional the way that they have dragged this case on for 1 week. Escrow shouldn't take that long to resolve disputes. Next time if it involves bitcoin, imo you should just go with a forum escrow. But for now - be patient, and keeping waiting.

This right here. I would completetly avoid all of these random sites which attempt to make you feel secure, while simply being the people that are going to scam you in the end. I'd much rather use an escrow that is going to take a bit longer (a escrow on the forum - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0) Which has a reputation to uphold here, and is going to without a doubt handle their side of the bargin. Use one of these escrows and you won't get screwed again. The thing isn't really that Bitify favours buyers or anything.

No reason to even use these sites, within 3 days he probably could have gotten Ognasty or someone like him to handle this entire ordeal.

I've used Bitify before as a buyer several times and never had an issue. Nor did my seller encounter any issues. Even though there was no dispute involved, I doubt that they are that biased towards the buyer since I haven't seen a lot of complaints about them at all. Otherwise, sellers wouldn't even be using them.
There shouldn't be any issues with them releasing funds to you. The highlighted part in the OP states that they'll usually award the case to the buyer if you don't respond in 3 days, which you didn't breach.
They don't seem like they're very active, though, which seems to be the main problem here. Has support responded to you at all? What did they say about the delay (if they did respond)? If they're really this unresponsive, then I would definitely stay away from them in the future when I'm conducting business. Plenty of alternatives on bitcointalk.

I thought that you already replied to them with the relevant proofs, but guess I was wrong. This is still very inefficient of them, though, because of the fact that they are delaying this for over a week and their only reply essentially says that you'd have to wait further. They could easily uncomplicate things by first, responding without such a huge delay and secondly, asking for proof as soon as a dispute is launched instead of waiting till this stage. Also, buyer has not replied for 1 week now, and they're still awaiting a reply? Please. Guess they're not the most efficient nor reliable escrow out there. Based on your experience I'd definitely consider not using them as I said in future, especially as a seller. At least they're responding though, best of luck.

Hey there, Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with the Bitify Escrow service. For future sale of digital products, consider selling on CoinMall.com Our service announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4465557Unlike Bitify, our Escrow service is not bot-operated, and we respond to disputes within a matter of minutes rather than days. We also don't take any fees whatsoever (Bitify takes up to 8% in fees), and are in general far more robust and easy to use than Bitify. In addition to that, we're in the process of implementing 3rd party Escrow, so reputable users from the community can assist you in case of a dispute. Should you have any questions or the like, feel free to ask.
