The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin. The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official: "Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."Read the full report: https://bitcoinist.com/south-korea-moving-towards-cryptocurrency-acceptance/Wow what a great news! I can see that most of asian countries can adopt and accept bitcoin. Isnt nice to see some great news like this despite of this bitcoin fall down? But im hoping that this kind of news will continue so that many people will realize that bitcoin is really worth to invest.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

This is great, because the more countries accept cryptocurrency, the sooner we will be able to fully use bitcoin. And we really need it.

While decentralisation offers cryptocurrency independency from the government, regulating the market will go a long way into instilling confidence and trust among the community. People will also find it reassuring to invest in crypto.

I also support the views of the government that it is necessary to regulate bitcoin to what extent, but the main thing is that it did not go to the detriment of technology.

I really do hope other countries follow the same steps this country had made for its people. I really do think there is a lot of benefits bitcoins can bring in the country. Maybe others may not feel nor understand it now but eventually, all will be revealed.

I like the trend of accepting cryptocurrency, though it is gradual, slow. But this is still a good sign, so the crypto will not die, but will still be actively used.

With good news, this is a good development for crypto development in the world. We know that South Korea is a country with a good economy. I hope that many developing countries follow in the footsteps of South Korea

This is good news for the development and future of Crypto. the increasing number of countries that legalize crypto currency will increase the number of crypto currency users. so that it will encourage growth in demand volume for the crypto currency. and will have an impact on rising coin prices on the market. and crypto trading volume will increase as the crypto users increase. and we can use crypto currencies to transact more broadly.

This is good news of course but not enough. Many countries have to follow Korea for bitcoin price will rise again. I hope it will happen. Bitcoin price is not in the place it deserved.
If the price of Bitcoin will return, the Korean country will experience a huge profit by investing a very large amount of Bitcoin at this time.

So many news like this and yet the market are still dumping, well I’m actually referring from the time OP made this thread. A news like this can pump the market but its not that high. The future of bitcoin will still be good, more countries will recognize bitcoin soon.

It's good to see that regulators can look through all the FUD, the scams and the crashes and come out of the other side supporting Bitcoin, honestly I'm surprised.
South Korean adoption is important because they are one of the most highly advanced societies technologically speaking. There's a reason they're cranking out top e-sports players every year.
I would expect the earliest places to hit mass adoption to be countries that have real problems with their currencies (hyperinflation) but perhaps it's going to be countries like South Korea where there's more people ready to understand the technology better, at least until it gets polished enough for the everyday user.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

As the volume of market expands and market gains depth, people's attention to criptocurrency grows. But we don't read such a good news for a while. To find ways which can be used widen government officials' horizon and make them also see opportunities is so important, because they only focus on risks of criptocurrencies like their volatile prices.
