Hi everyone, I found a service announcement of new wallet platform few days ago in our forum.
Their introduction and vision stated in the post seems to be great and it also attracts me a lot.
However, I still wonder whether I can trust that new wallet.
Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet or they can never stole any coin because they just provide wallet service only?

Please help me if you have experience in this field. Thank you.
This is the link to the wallet that I mentioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4582763.msg41338130#msg41338130

Without the review of the community, or beta testing at least. Do not try to gamble your funds in uncertainty.
There are several trusted wallet out there ready to serve anybody without the presence of being compromise when properly use.

If you have a decent amount of crypto-asset, better have some hardwallet to keep your hard-earned money safe. Better safe than sorry.

Yes, it is possible, of course. Wallets are very important in crypto so use only checked wallets and use so hard passwords. And it will be better if you will use additional soft.

The newer the service, the more chances of breaches and security breaches can have, making the lives of hackers much easier. So be very careful before using a new wallet service.

I think that yes, it is possible if you don't know which wallet to choose, it is better to give preference to the hard wallet and use it for the long-term hold if you are sure that it is reliable, as for me it is a good choice

I didn't choose the wallet in the rank or something. As I came to invest ad earn money here I started using the blockchain and coinbase wallet. I did not find the any issues with them. I have all my fund still safe.
If you want to keep your money safe go with recommended wallet like bitcoincore, mycelium, blockchain, electrum and coinbase. You can your own favourite wallet.

The main part of our wallet is Private Key, if you secure it safely then nobody can take your coins. Just choose that wallet which are trusted, open source and secured by private key. Otherwise, there are many phising wallet without private key. Also, when save your Private key- always remove their last or first 3 digit and note them at your mind or on paper note. So that if someone get your key, it is useless for that!

And if you want to take the risk and download a wallet from an unknown source I would recommend doing it from a VM or a machine where you don't story any access information to your coins and any exchange accounts.

I'm not sure if anyone can steal your coin if they have access to your private key. It is so pertinent to key keep your private key in a safer place like your are save guarding your life

It could take place, of course. You should use only safe wallets, have good ways for security in doing manipulations with coins or money. You could even do not talk a lot.

It is very likely that if you use a less secured wallet to hold your tokens you are very prone to lose all your tokens. Hackers are lurking and waiting for any form of mistake to strike.

Yes you can. You should always make sure that whatever wallets that you are storing your coins in are secured. This way you can be sure that your coins are safe. If you choose the wrong wallet then your wallet might end up getting hacked and the hacker will steal your coins. The kind of wallet you use is just as important as the coins that you have.

Yes, it could happen if you have chosen wrong wallet. Be careful about it, use only checked ones and stable platforms for making manipulations with money in the future.

You use different wallets to accept coins, and of course you will lose them. Because their addresses are different, each currency represents a different item. But if it is erc20, it will not, because they are all Ethernet networks, they can be used universally.

It is so easy and as well cheap, to lose your coins by choosing a wrong wallet. Two things are probable.
1. That the contract might not match the one you have selected
2. That your private keys get exposed and through that, your funds stolen.
In making selection for wallets, you've got to really be careful since your assets are involved.

There is not any wrong wallet, you just could use unreliable wallet with such important charateristic like security which could be lower than it has to be.

I heard some news before that there is a wallet that was hacked I mean not just a wallet but like a network and the private keys of everybody who is using the said wallet were extracted. Not quite sure about the validity of that news but I think that serves a lesson for us that in case you are going to change wallets then do not put everything in the new wallet just to be safe.
