I don't remember if I closed my old account, but I think I never used it and I didn't receive any email about this.
I guess you closed it, or maybe you withdrew all you had since you didn't get any emails about it.

I haven't used Bittrex since late 2017 /early 2018 and I was very surprised when last summer I received reminder email from them. And since then I've been receing them every few months, reminding me to withdraw that ~$1 i have there.

.. I am curious, if they did not accept your official documents in 2020 when you tried to resolve this issue,
They did not accept my country's ID card Only passport that I did not have

Why have we not seen more cases of a similar nature regarding Bittrex. How many other accounts were closed in the same way and how many of their customers are trying to get back assets that were frozen if they can pass KYC.

It has been over a week since you told us about the ID card rejection and request for a passport that you did not have therefore has anything happened in the interim? In the those years, did you ever manage to apply to have your first passport issued?

.. I am curious, if they did not accept your official documents in 2020 when you tried to resolve this issue,
They did not accept my country's ID card Only passport that I did not have

It seems you have tried to have access to your account granted but Bittrex have not allowed it and the way things ar looking they will never allow it because the time for withdrawal has expired. Now you are fully aware of their policy and action (and the fact they will not make any exceptions even in your case), what will you do next to try to get access to your funds?

It's been Problems for Years. Maybe some of it can be Blamed on the US Authorities Changing Rules and making it Hard for US Exchanges to Operate. And they actually Followed the Rules, when some Others didn't, I remember when You could just say "No" to "Are You a US Resident". Bittrex always had all the Problems associated with Following the Rules.

Just wanted to Point that out. But it always has been like, Wondering if You are ever going to be able to get anything out. And it's Yours.

Bittrex recently delisted GLC and now users are contacting us unable to withdraw their coins unless they pay a .25 BTC coin recovery fee.  Angry

I guess since their volume has fallen to nearly zero, they have to find some way to pay the bills.
Actually, it was on their Recovery Policy (updated since 2017), not new : https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000961172

Aside from Bittrex's notification about the token being delisted, have you informed people via your newsletter or social media accounts about it? If yes, then you and Bittrex did your part. Also, if the users put their coin/token on exchange, they should know the risks.

This is how the british empire was built. Dumb as fuck contracts, idiots believing in them and not understanding the law. you can't just put shit in a contract, not explaina it clearly and then expect that it will stand up in court. Most of the time it will though, as people don't challenge it and believe in this dumb as fuck statement.

Bittrex has long required KYC.

Bittrex has long since been trying to act like a bank.  Bittrex has further shown this by evolving to be a fiat-based exchange rather than a crypto-based exchange.

Fiat based exchanges will be subject to KYC because accepting fiat comes with additional steps.

bittrex was the biggest ongoing heist of the century. the owners stole under the guise of KYC and DOJ orders.
they stole under the privacy coin delisting
they stole under impending bankruptcy

SEC fined them 50M, they didn't pay the fine and folded Bittrex GLOBAL
they had the same order book which meant you are trading Bittrex from lichtenstein.
They stole privacy coins and got greedy and used jumio again and fucked people over in 2023. the liquidator used it as well.
They were unhinged and should be sent to jail and anyone with half a brain should get a legal team together, take it slow and steady and explain to them like fucking 8 year old.
then put the case up against them... we are bound to win. no credibiltity on their tech side of things. no ground truth of their sql audit logs as they are a bunch of scammers.
they have used the same "technology" and moved to bittrex global and thought the sec will not find out. fucking idiots.

Sorry to say it, but I doubt that he can get anything from them. A couple of days ago, I received an e-mail from Bittrex support regarding their closure and the withdrawal of any funds that I might have had there (I don't). Tomorrow is their final day for making any withdrawals, but it seems that a lot of users can't do their withdrawals. Don't know why, but Bittrex always used tricky methods for keeping users' funds stuck there. The only (?) way to get your funds back after their distribution is to "apply to the Accountant General", as they said in their e-mail. For sure, not an easy or fast procedure at all.
