Once Bitcoin can be back on the road for more growth, many altcoins will be following the signal to also grow as most altcoins still have this interdependence relation to Bitcoin and even Bitcoin Cash (claiming to be the real Bitcoin) has the same pattern. I do guess that Eth can go beyond the $1K level this year and the same thing can happen with Bitcoin Cash. There are now many new entrants on the market and I guess they can get benefited too. Tron is a good crypto to watch as the potential is really there as well as many projects that originated in South Korea.

I think this year EOS performance is really good in crypto market and many altcoins also growing on this year so we don't judge Ethereum is the best deal in this year. May be end of the year everyone understand the best altcoin because currently all the coins are dump in the market so know little hard to predict.

I think it will be Etherium or EOS, it depends on what the developers of both blockchain can achieve. I think that no less interesting events in the world of cryptocurrencies will be ahead of us than in the last 3 years. My bet is Etherium

I think AMB is one of the most underrated and undervalued coins in all of crypto right now. All signs are pointing that it could soon become THE european/ western supply chain platform that will handle many billions of dollars worth of products. There's very strong rumors and coincidences that point to partnerships with massive companies like Migros ($30 billion), Glaxosmithkline ($40 billion), and Cargill ($100 billion!). Imagine what will have to the current market cap of less than $50 million once these are made official...

Main net 1.0 is launching near the end of July and industrial grade 2.0 is launching in October so expect tons of announcements, partnership reveals, and hype in the very near future.

Since you discuss about price, this would be more suitable to stay in Speculation.

Then, it's hard to say which altcoin will perform the best, since quite a good number of them started to deliver, so as soon as the money will start flowing back into crypto market, many of them will grow nicely.
Even some of the more established altcoins (since you mentioned ETH), which usually are safer bets, did fall in price while still showing development, so they'll also have plenty of room to grow.
In the ETH area there's quite a competition between smart contract and ICO platforms, ETH is still in lead, but "newcomers" are coming pretty strong.

The only problem remaining is.. when will the money start flowing again into the crypto market I guess that we need more patience.

according to my predictions, i prefer eos, because eos is now again famous, people are now investing heavily in eos, chances are the end of the year the price of eos will rise high

For me the best altcoin will still be Ethereum, because ETH will not be the number 2 if it wasnt good enough. Im buying eth right now because the price is low and i know that in the later time of this year eth will have a bull run for sure.

When talking about which is the best altcoin this year I can not give an eat answer if you are looking just one because it is so hard to tell it now. Many altcoins Now are showing great potential aside from ethereum, we have neo, NEM, waves, ripple. Off course ethereum is the best but sometimes picking only one is missing the chance from the others so better to find which are the best tans choose them all.

I think there is a chance for a couple of tokens, many believe in EOS, but really the system is strong now, but I do not believe in EOS, I believe that this year Ether will be a leader, in the future I'm not sure, but now I do not see that , who can displace the Ether. The main thing is to wait for the growth of the market!

ETH is the safe bet since it is not quite as crazy in the price swings like others. Best altcoin in my opinion is likely ontology if they can pull off storing validation of your identity on blockchain. Would make verifying who you are a lot quicker if you are someone who does not like to carry your more sensitive ID cards on you at all times.

I think that will be altcoin this year remains Ethereum. I see the price of Ethereum is more stable than other altcoin. and I am optimistic that the price of Ethereum on the market later this year will increase significantly.

I dont think we can talk about one coin as a best look at coinmatketcap ,we can see 1624 coins so 10 or more could be good os bests not only one DeepOnion would be one of them.

ETH is great as an infrastructure blockchain of course but a project that is dear to my heart is PUNDI X which will really help facilitate mass adoption on a wide scale. If they can get at least 100k xpos machines out within the enxt three years they will dominate the space on the consumer/merchant side and the fact that they will be burnign tokens, basically all their profit coming from transactions in those xpos machines, means that every quarter we will see a reduction fo the total supply. The token price is way undervalued right now and today is the launch of their first xpos live in the shops!!! Hong Kong is the opening country..
